or how things can escalate from a single billion op to an inter continental op spanning 6 time zones extending further than anybody could expect in just 24 hours.

This operation was planned for Easter, as a simple re-do of an operation done back in November 2018 for the global MU challenge, just because Quantum capsules were doing their dirty job and we wanted to have some fun.

As we were approaching operation day, geopolitical situation in Sudan got worse and worse, with riots and curfew happening in Khartoum, media blocking IM services and the game as well; so it was the best for our agents there to stay safe far from this troubles not risking their life for a game.

Fortunately another crazy russian agent come to the rescue being in Accra for this same period of time: @bjarken

Things were set then, with a spine of 30 portals in Italy (most of which were still up and in range with VRLA from the previous operation in November) and 3 portals in Accra, thanks to some new keys exchanged in the recent anomalies, all anchoring on the famous Al-fatimiah mosque in Khartoum;

The day before the operation something unexpected happened; agent @bjarken , being filled with a lot of strategic keys, said he was going to do a huge linkstar with all portals linkable from Accra lighthouse after operation ended; this turned on some light bulbs and the group chat exploded with an extension of the plan involving Canaries, Cape Verde and Brazil.

The plan was adjusted after the keys that were already in position in these areas and a lot of agents, including Intel Operators jumped in in the blink of an eye to have an amazing time closing some "small fields" and capturing few Mind Units.

Ground team in Italy, Canaries, Ghana, Brazil were quickly arranged as well as our precious eyes in the sky and we were all good to go. Agents in Ghana had to start first with some flip and re-flip to change mods and make range to reach the desired portals, then Italy and Canaries started together while Brazil joined at the very end, just 15 min before CP. Everything went smoothly apart for some layers in Italy done after cp that were still up for the next three CPs. 4 agents obtained black illuminator badge, including two new recruits.

Apart from the operation itself and the Mind Units captured, what really matter in the end is the positive experience everyone involved had during this day.
