He’s best known for his role as werewolf Jacob in the fantasy vampire romance film, Twilight.
But Taylor Lautner is set to showcase his funny side in BBC Three comedy show, Cuckoo, as seen in the first teaser trailer.
The 30-second clip gave fans a better look at the actor’s latest role, which saw him sporting some questionable facial hair before reverting back to his usual handsome self.

Taylor was enlisted to join the second series of the successful culture clash show after Andy Samberg had to pull out of his role as the male lead due to commitments to his US comedy hit, Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
The second series will pick up two years after Samberg's character has disappeared while walking in the Himalayas and is presumed to be dead.
Taylor, who is dating American actress Maria Avgeropoulos, will play the unwanted son-in-law in the series starring Greg Davies and Helen Baxendale as a couple whose young daughter (previously played by Tamla Kari) returns from her gap year with a dull American husband.

The 22-year-old actor first appears in the trailer as a crazy, dishevelled, and bearded man who alarms the family members that don’t recognize him.
But Taylor soon reverts back to his shaven look as his famous abs also make an appearance in a bathroom scene with fellow newcomer, Esther Smith, who has taken on the role of Rachel.
It is the first TV role for the American star since he found fame in the popular Twilight franchise.

At the time of Taylor’s casting, Controller of BBC Three Zai Bennett said: 'I'm delighted to welcome it back with the addition of superstar Taylor Lautner", adding it would be "one of the comedy treats of the year.
The show first came to UK screens in September 2012 with the biggest comedy launch in BBC Three's history.
It was nominated for two British Comedy awards as well as the Davies' nomination for best male comedy performance at the Baftas.
Cuckoo will air in the UK on BBC Three starting on August 7 at 10pm.
