At Massage Only all of our therapists are licensed by the state of Massachusetts and continue their education and training to maintain their professional status. Our therapists are trained in many modalities, including deep tissue, orthopedic, myofascial, ashiatsu, craniosacral, hot stone and Swedish massage.
Barbara spent more than 20 years as a commercial pilot and appreciated the benefits of regular massage from the client’s point of view. She switched gears and careers over 10 years ago and became a licensed Massage Therapist, specializing in Ashiatsu, Sports, and Orthopedic Massage, for both humans and horses!
Barbara's work is specific, with a focus on muscle and connective tissue repair. She will do deep work, but only if requested, as she has learned many techniques that achieve fantastic results. While her massage is designed to repair and relieve it is also deeply relaxing. Barbara believes strongly in the body's ability to heal itself, but it takes a present and clear mind to assist in that healing.
Anetta Rauf
Anetta is a graduate of SpaTech Institute and has been practicing massage for several years. Anetta combines a deep knowledge of soft tissue anatomy with an intuitive feel and energy. Her work is fairly deep, specific, yet invokes a sense of well-being and calm. She does myofascial, sports massage, Swedish and Deep tissue. Anetta is also cerified in Reiki and Polarity, forms of energy based bodywork. Her Polarity sessions are nothing short of AMAZING. 
Tony Shannir
Tony gives a fantastic and targeted deep tissue massage, alleviating soreness and spasms. He has a wide range of techniques including neck and shoulder work that not only feels amazing but is extremely effective.
Catherine Hermans-McGurren
Catherine Hermans-McGurren has over 13 years of experience in massage therapy. Along with an extensive list of manual techniques, including but not limited to Deep Tissue Massage, Classic Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Pre/Post Natal Massage, she possesses certifications in advanced massage work including Oncology Massage, Manual Lymphatic Draining, Ashiatsu, Cupping, and Decongestive & Compression Bandaging. This has cultivated a therapist who believes deeply in the supportive therapies that assist the body’s innate ability to heal.
Sharing her talents, self, and knowledge of massage therapy and it’s benefits has been an important part of Catherine’s life. She spent 8 years as an instructor in the field, excelling in both academic and technique based classes. A Reiki II energy practitioner, Catherine prides herself on being a supportive part of her clients healing process by offering the benefit of her skills based on their individual needs for attention
Holly Weymouth
Holly graduated from SpaTech Institute in Holistic Massage. She combines her depth of knowledge in therapeutic massage with Energy based bodywork, i.e., Polarity. Holly likes to use deep tissue massage to alleviate tight, tired or overworked muscles and Polarity to offer a deep sense of well-being. Her work is both restorative and relaxing. Holly is passionate about healing and massage and works with her clients to achieve the results they need.
