Online IELTS Speaking Assessor (Remote – Contract)About Baetha
Baetha is an education technology platform dedicated to helping students achieve their study abroad goals. We are expanding our IELTS preparation services and are looking for experienced English teachers to conduct IELTS-style speaking assessments for students worldwide.
Responsibilities
* Conduct a 15-minute IELTS-style Speaking assessment online.
* Evaluate students using the IELTS Speaking band descriptors.
* Review the AI-generated evaluation and report.
* Adjust and finalize the AI-generated scores and feedback when necessary.
* Assign a final estimated IELTS band score.
* Submit the completed assessment through the Baetha platform.
Requirements
* Native or near-native English proficiency with a clear British English accent.
* Experience teaching English or preparing students for the IELTS exam.
* Strong understanding of the IELTS Speaking test format and scoring criteria.
* Excellent communication and assessment skills.
* Reliable high-speed internet, webcam, and a quiet working environment.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience teaching IELTS Speaking.
* CELTA, DELTA, TEFL, TESOL, or an equivalent English teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching international students.
Compensation
* US$6–9 per completed assessment (starting at US$6, based on qualifications, experience, and performance).
* Each assessment includes:
* 15-minute IELTS-style Speaking assessment.
* Approximately 5 minutes to review and finalize the AI-generated evaluation report.
* Flexible working hours.
* Remote contract position.
* Students are provided by Baetha—no marketing or student recruitment required.
