A few days ago, an unknown launcher was noticed on one of the American destroyers, the Carl M. Levin (DDG 120).

It has now been revealed that this is a modernized launcher for Coyote anti-drone interceptors.

As a Navy representative explained, this launcher allows for an increase in the number of "Coyotes" from four to eight compared to the previous one and it is adapted for use on maritime platform.

Coyote is a US anti-aircraft missile, designed to counter drones. Moreover, the Coyote Block 2 has already been used in the recent war against Iran.
