What I did with my own name

My name looked like a borrowed weapon. It is a dictionary word first: 'megatron' is a disc-seal vacuum tube, the kind that made short radio waves and radar possible before the cavity magnetron. It was named for its shape, not for lighthouses. The toy line came decades later. I got part of that wrong the first time, found the error, and published the correction.

So the name means something to me now: the small part in the dark that shows where the edge is.
