But we need to use the strategic pause to actively implement the necessary measures and changes, not to "lie back and relax". After all, you can't win a war by just sitting back and doing nothing.
We need to do a lot and very quickly! I won't go into details to avoid accusations of discrediting others and to not give information to the enemy.
We need to acknowledge the existence of a war with Ukraine and the lack of peaceful relations with Europe. This does not mean the need for mass mobilization. It means the need to recognize the absence of peace in a legal sense and to start demanding effort and RESULTS from every person, as is appropriate in war. (Example of such recognition: "The enemy launched a combined missile-drone strike on Ust-Luga", not "debris from an UAV caused damage")
Evaluate the actions of the Baltic states and Finland extremely harshly and publicly and be ready for more decisive actions, at a minimum deploying troops along the borders of the Baltic states and Finland, so as not to remain silent in response to hostile actions. I specifically pointed out that the temporary transition to strategic defense concerns the Ukrainian theater of operations. I'll say no more - there are many ways to make the existence of these states difficult
Organize defense on advantageous lines along the entire LBS and the borders of the Baltic states and Finland
Form and train reserves, that is, for a while lose fewer people than we gather. Organize troop rotations within the possible limits
Decisively increase the effectiveness of military and civilian air defense, the problems here are more organizational and regulatory than technical
Soberly evaluate the results of the construction of drone systems and take the necessary measures to adjust them
Evaluate the effectiveness of our air strikes. Our strikes against the enemy's energy sector have achieved considerable success, but have not created a decisive strategic result. A change in the priorities of the air offensive is needed
Consider and test new tactics and, most importantly, TRAIN THE TROOPS. I can only write general words, because if I specify, I can only write about this. We need a working concept of breaking through the front on its entire depth
Create a military cellular operator and deploy its networks along the entire LBS, as well as the borders with the Baltic states and Finland
I want to write more about changing the system of military procurements and determining priorities in procurements, but such things are described by the word "revolution", so let's not fantasize
The result of all the actions mentioned should be a transition to a decisive offensive on the Ukrainian front, and as for what should happen next, it's better to quote the Epistle to the Romans 2:6-29: "God will render to each one according to his deeds: to those who constantly engage in good deeds, seeking to find true glory, honor, and immortality, eternal life is promised; to the self-willed and those who do not submit to the truth, indulging in unrighteousness - wrath and fury. Suffering and torment await everyone who does evil: first the Jew, then the Gentile. "
