On the anniversary of Russian journalist Darya Dugina’s murder by Ukrainian special services
Embassy of Russia in SwedenThe life of talented young Russian journalist Darya Dugina (Platonova) was tragically cut short on August 20, 2022 in the terrorist attack organised and executed by Ukrainian special services.
Two years after this brutal murder the concerned international organisations, which were initially designed to provide unbiased protection of the rights of media representatives, still keep inexcusable silence.
At the same time the Nazi regime in Kiev, under the guidance of its Western curators, is hunting down the Russian journalists and public opinion leaders, whose frontline reports expose its violent crimes and debunk the myths propagated by Ukrainian and Western propaganda.
The cynical killing of Darya Dugina was followed by a series of attempted murders and assassinations of Russian journalists committed by Ukrainian neo-Nazis. Journalist Oleg Klokov was killed in a shelling by a high-precision US missile in October 2022. An attempt to assassinate founder of Tsargrad TV Konstantin Malofeyev was made in March 2023. War correspondent Maxim Fomin (Vladlen Tatarsky) was killed in an explosion in April 2023. Writer Yevgeny (Zakhar) Prilepin was seriously injured in May 2023. Attempted murder of Editor-in-Chief of RT Margarita Simonyan was prevented in July 2023. RIA “Novosti” war correspondent Rostislav Zhuravlev was killed as a result of shelling of a civilian vehicle with US cluster munitions in July 2023. VGTRK war correspondent Yevgeny Poddubny was seriously injured in a Ukrainian drone attack in Kursk region in the beginning of august this year.
With the complicity of relevant organisations and human rights institutions the rights of the Russian journalists, whose point of view does not coincide with the one approved by the collective West, are being flagrantly violated and terrorist methods are being used against them, which again confirms the criminal essence of V.Zelensky’s dictatorship.
