Omni Calc Privacy Policy

Omni Calc is a calculator app published by AmberLynx. This policy explains, in plain terms, what happens to information when you use the app. In short, everything you do in Omni Calc stays on your phone. The app has no way to send data anywhere else, and AmberLynx never receives any of it.

The Short Version

• Omni Calc does not collect personal data.
• The app does not request the internet permission, so it cannot transmit anything off your device.
• No third-party SDKs or outside code of any kind are built into the app.
• Your settings and saved items live only in the app's local storage on your phone.
• Nothing is shared, sold or handed over to anyone.

What the App Keeps on Your Device

To work as expected, Omni Calc remembers a small amount of information locally:

• Your preferences, such as display or calculation settings you have changed.
• Items you choose to save inside the app.

This information is written only to the app's private storage on your phone. It is not copied to our servers, because we do not operate any servers for Omni Calc, and it is not uploaded to any other place. We cannot see it, read it or retrieve it.

The app does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos or any other personal details, and it does not create an identifier for you or your device.

Why That Information Exists

The locally stored settings and saved items have one purpose: to let the app remember your choices between sessions so you do not have to set things up again each time you open it. They are not analyzed, profiled or used for any other purpose.

Outside Services

There are none. Omni Calc contains no third-party services, libraries that report usage, or crash reporting tools. Because the app has no network access, it does not communicate with AmberLynx or with any other company while you use it.

Who Your Data Is Shared With

No one. Since the app does not collect personal data and cannot send anything off your device, there is nothing for us to share, disclose, rent or sell. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under California law, and we do not share it for any purpose.

Keeping Information Safe

Your settings and saved items are held in the app's private storage, which Android isolates from other apps on your phone. The best protection is that this data never leaves your device in the first place, so it cannot be intercepted in transit or exposed through a server breach. We still recommend protecting your phone with a screen lock and keeping its system software up to date, since the security of local data ultimately depends on the security of the device itself.

How Long Data Stays Around

Locally stored information remains on your phone until you remove it. You are in full control:

• You can delete individual saved items within the app.
• You can clear the app's data from your phone's system settings under Apps, then Omni Calc, then Storage.
• Uninstalling Omni Calc permanently removes everything the app has stored.

Because we hold no copy, deletion on your device is complete and final.

Young Users

Omni Calc is a general-purpose tool and is safe for people of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 or the minimum age of digital consent in your country. Since the app collects no personal data at all, no information about children is gathered, stored off-device or shared.

Your Rights Under GDPR and CCPA

Privacy laws such as the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation and the California Consumer Privacy Act give you rights over your personal data, including the right to access it, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, receive a portable copy, and opt out of its sale. You also have the right not to be treated differently for exercising these rights.

With Omni Calc, you can exercise these rights directly on your phone, because that is the only place any app data exists. AmberLynx holds no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to provide, correct or erase on our side. If you contact us with a request, we will confirm this and help you with any steps on your device. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Updates to This Policy

If the way Omni Calc handles information ever changes, we will revise this policy and update the effective date at the top. Any significant change will be reflected here before it takes effect in the app. We encourage you to review this page from time to time.
