Adult film actress Olivia Nova died at age 20 on Sunday in Las Vegas, joining a growing list of young porn stars to succumb to untimely deaths.
The adult film actress tweeted on Christmas that she was lonely after spending the holidays by herself.
Her former representatives, LA Direct Models, issued a statement on the news of Nova's passing.
"While only represented by Direct Models for a short period of time, we came to know Olivia as a beautiful girl with a very sweet and gentle personality," the statement read. "It is understood next of kin have been informed. Another one, way too young we are beyond shocked and most certainly, completely out of the blue. Rest in peace, sweet angel."

Nova's cause of death is unknown.

Nova entered the porn industry in March 2017 and amassed a following of over 20,000 people on Twitter.
Some of her fans reached out to express their sadness over her sudden death.
One Twitter user wrote, "RIP Olivia Nova. Sad to hear she passed away."

Nova died at 20 years old on Sunday in Las Vegas according to multiple media reports.

Fox News reached out to LA Direct Models but did not receive comment.

Nova's death comes after the December suicide of August Ames at 23. Ames hung herself after she was called homophobic for not having sex on camera with men who had done gay porn. She also suffered from mental health issues, and said she had been molested as a child.

Porn stars Shyla Styles (left) and Turi Luv (right) also recently died.

Adult entertainer Turi Luv (real name Yurizan Beltran), 31, died of a drug overdose the same month. In one of her last Instagram posts, she included a quotation that read: "I hope to arrive to my death, late, in love, and a little drunk."
Adult Film Hall of Famer Shyla Stylez died in her sleep in November 2017 at the age of 35. She had retired from the porn industry the previous year.

Emotionally-torn Jimmie Romero revealed Olivia tried to help herself and another friend become sober in the run-up to her death
TRAGIC porn star Olivia Nova tried to "change her lifestyle" in the run-up to her death as doctors had warned her "days were limited", a close friend has revealed.
Olivia, born Lexi Forde in Minnesota, went to her friend's house to stay sober for three days instead of seeking medical help, Jimmie Romero claimed.
Jimmie, who has worked in recovery rehabs and has been sober for 14 years, said he pleaded with Lexi to go to hospital for a full detox, Mirror Online reported.
But instead Olivia tried to help herself while helping another friend who was "heading down a dangerous path".
He said: "Lexi knew her days were limited, she was told in October by doctors. She looked in my eyes and said to me, 'I want to stop and change my life. I have a family that loves me'."
Jimmie added: "I am indebted to Lexi for her selfless act. She passed trying to save others and I believe that's the stuff saints are made of."
Lexi was found dead in Las Vegas earlier this week months after her boyfriend committed suicide.
LA Direct Models said they were "beyond shocked by the sudden death" the cause of which is currently unknown.
Days before she was found, she tweeted: "Alone on the holidays and want to give a fan a holiday call. Would lift my spirit."
In a bid to raise funds for her funeral costs, her family launched a GoFundMe page which has now received £6623 ($9050).
The crowdfunding page reads: "On the morning of January 7 2018, heaven gained an angel as Lexi Rose Forte, 20 years old, passed away unexpectedly in Las Vegas.
"She leaves behind so many loved ones including her mum, Leslie, her 17-year-old brother David and her 7-year-old sister Macie.
"Leslie must now travel to Las Vegas to sort through and pack Lexi's belongings, retrieve Lexi's beloved dog, Rocko, and finally, bring Lexi back home to Minnesota."
She is now the fifth actress to die in the adult film industry within the last three months.
Yuri Luv , 31, August Ames , 23, and Shyla Stylzez, 35, all passed away recently.
In December, Ames killed herself after she was trolled on social media for refusing to film a sex scene.
