I read this story with my girls and they loved it! We enjoyed that Lily didn’t give up when things didn’t work out for her the first time and that she needed help from her friends to be successful. My girls also saw all their other favorite characters and are hoping for the Billie unicorn story soon! 🦄

ADORE this book as a gift for my niece and nephew! I have a couple of pairs of Moosh Walks socks and it’s cool to see the characters on the page. Just like the socks, the book characters are so unique (my nephew loves Lily and Fred) and the story is motivational for kids and adults too. A great prompt to starting your own kitchen/pizza experiments at home. Overall the message is really positive to inspire kid entrepreneurs and encourage growth. I will be buying more as gifts!

I was very pleased with the packaging. It arrived on a rainy day and was outside till I got home in the evening. There was no damage to the book. My daughter is 18 months old and I love to fill her library with inspiring books. I’m sure she will grow to love this strong story and know that she can do anything she puts her mind to as she grows into her unique personality. I also bought a pair of the socks for myself and I loved them! So many cool things within this brand. Will definitely be back for more.

I loved seeing the Mooshwalks sock characters come to life in this book! My daughter loved learning about Lily and all of her fun inventions. This book sparked great conversation between her and I about how to overcome challenges and to keep believing in yourself. An awesome motivational message in a format that kids will understand. The illustrations were bright, colorful, and engaging. All in all, I hope this is just the first book in a long series of Mooshwalks characters!

So excited to finally get this book with Lily’s story because my daughter already has socks based on this character!

Inspiring story of overcoming adversity and reaching your dreams. Gives kids the tools they need to manage early failures and stick to their vision.

My daughter loved this first book in what is hopefully a big series in the future. I loved the book’s theme of not letting failures discourage you from moving towards your goals. I haven’t seen enough of messages like this in books for my daughter!

Loved the story, can’t wait to give to my niece!

Hello dear readers. I am Olga Kay and my biggest passion in life is to empower the next generation of female leaders through my books and my company, Moosh Walks. My journey to becoming an author was the most unusual one. At 14 years old I left my small village in Crimea to pursue a better life and ran away with the Russian Circus. I traveled with Moscow Circus for about 2 years and got to see big cities all over my country and fell in love with the big city vibes. I was so fortunate to then immigrate to the United States of America at 16 years of age to perform with Ringling Brothers Circus as a juggler. I learned quickly, how much opportunity this country gives to any foreigner. I stayed in America but quit my circus career in my early 20s. I later discovered Youtube, back in 2006, which was a very unknown platform at the time but I knew it's something I had to be part of, which resulted in a prosperous 10 year long career as a content creator. Youtube was the place where I got inspired to build something for the next generation of girls because I got to closely observe my followers, majority of whom were young girls. Moosh Walks was born with the mission to instill growth mindset at a young age and give the opportunity for every kid to believe that anything is possible and when challenges appear, it's just part of the journey to success.
I live in Los Angeles with my dog Roxy.

Her sisters soon follow, and younger sister Becky soon creates a bit of a scandal by marrying a black man. Becky has 11 children, and this is where Olga's story begins. Olga is a sweet girl who always wants to be good, but she is a bit naive at times. Her family goes through their own adventures and scandals. Olga goes to England and eventually becomes stranded due to World War II. In England she endures the trials and tragedy of war, along with a few personal problems that occur. Throughout it all Olga remains remarkably resilient and courageous. She is determined to do the best she can at all she does, and she manages to take care of herself even in dire circumstances. Perhaps the most remarkable thing about this book is that it is a true story. The story is told through a series of letters, newspaper clippings, and diary entries. I found this to be a marvelous way to get into the different character's personalities. I enjoyed this way of telling the story. I found it to be an effective way to tell everything that happened without unnecessary amounts of long exposition. There were many topics of great interest to me. Olga's life was made much more difficult by the racism she faced in Jamaica and England. Another very interesting part to me were the descriptions of life in London during the war. You get a feel for how frightening it must have been to try and go on with your life while bombs were falling. I enjoyed this book so much, and it really makes me
