Two viral videos showing a couple having sex in their private outdoor jacuzzi in a Hong Kong hotel have ignited privacy concerns among social media users.
The videos, which were reportedly shared on Facebook and WhatsApp groups several days ago, show a couple having sex in their private outdoor jacuzzi as another person films them from above.
It is unclear when or where the videos were taken. Some social media users believe it was filmed by another guest or an employee at a hotel in North Point that offers rooms with a private jacuzzi on the balcony.
In one of the viral videos, the woman is seen sitting on the edge of the jacuzzi while eating a bowl of noodles with her partner’s head between her legs. The other video shows the man hugging the partially naked woman from behind.
The person behind the camera managed to film the couple through the gap of a balcony railing.
Some social media users raised concerns over the hotel's design, pointing out that those staying on the floors below won’t have any privacy from other guests on the upper floors. Others, however, called out the person filming the couple.
“ It’s so cheap to secretly film them,” one user wrote.
“ Have you thought of the harm you’ll bring to those involved,” another said.
The Hong Kong government passed the Crimes (Amendment) Ordinance 2021 on Oct. 8, covering four new offenses, including “voyeurism, unlawful recording or observation of intimate parts, publication of images originating from voyeurism or unlawful recording or observation of intimate parts as well as publication or threatened publication of intimate image without consent, and related matters.”
According to Hong Kong media , under the law, anyone found exposing themselves in public could face a fine of 1,000 Hong Kong dollars (approximately $127) and a six-month jail sentence.
Publishing a video showing indecent acts online, such as the case of the person who filmed the couple, is a violation of Hong Kong’s “Control of Obscene and Indecent Articles Ordinance,” which carries a fine of up to 1 million Hong Kong dollars (approximately $127,421) and three-years’ imprisonment.

The video of the incident, filmed along Beach Road at around 9 a.m. on Wednesday, was shared online by the Facebook group SG Road Vigilante later that same day. An appalled Hong Kong hotel guest captured the scandalous moment two shameless couples decided to get jiggy with it in the facility’s jacuzzis. A video of their hot tub hanky-panky session is blowing up online.
“I did not expect to see people doing this when I stood on my balcony,” the unnamed videographer told Viral Press of the lecherous quartet’s aquatic romp. The NSFW double date went down July 1 in a high-rise hotel room in the North Point area of the Vertical City.
The steamy 35-second clip, filmed from the cameraman’s veranda, shows an unidentified man performing a randy sex act on a woman in an open-air hot tub a floor below in full view and earshot of the surrounding rooms. In both shots, the woman is seen enjoying a bowl of noodles, bringing a whole new meaning to “send noods.”
The footage then zooms in on the second pair of lovebirds, who are seen having intercourse in another — thankfully enclosed — hot tub like a scene out of the Playboy Bunny Ranch. If that wasn’t bad enough, families can be seen splashing about on the ground floor, apparently oblivious to the salacious antics transpiring above.
Needless to say, the hotel horndogs could apparently face serious jail time for their whirlpool romance.
Hong Kong lawyer Albert Luk Wai-hung told local media that public sex is illegal.
“A person who, without lawful authority or excuse, in any public place or in view of the public, indecently exposes any part of his body, shall be guilty of an offense and shall be liable on conviction of a fine and imprisonment for up to six months,” he said.
Unfortunately, the official said the videographer could also be penalized for filming the sordid display: “Further to this rule, the video taker may have also violated the Control of Obscene and Indecent Articles Ordinance and could be duly punished.”
However, the cameraman maintains that he had filmed the couple as a favor to law enforcement.
“‘The rooms were not private,” he insisted. “They were aware that other hotel guests could see them. This is why I recorded their inappropriate behavior.”
This isn’t the first public sex display to make the rounds of late. In May, a UK couple took their love life to new heights while having sex on a cliff in full view of restaurant diners .

In an XXX-rated lost-and-found post that reads like an erotic novel, eccentric restaurateur Keith McNally posted his manager’s account of a recent evening at the eternally hip Soho spot, which included things like the number of covers, walk-ins and cancellations, plus a saucy aside.
“We had one alleged report of a couple having sex in one of the men’s stall downstairs,” reads the manager’s notes. “But when I asked floor manager Greg to rush down and check what’s going on, the couple were nowhere to be found so they remained a mystery.”
But the steamy tale turned into even more of a tantalizing whodunit — as it appears that the woman’s ring fell off while contorting around the tiny stall.
“Oddly enough, Greg found a small wedding ring on the floor of the bathroom stall. He put it [in] Lost & Found,” reads the post.
McNally tells us the couple has not yet returned to claim the ring.
We are choosing to believe the randy pair are married to each other, not other people.
McNally has become known for posting all sorts of controversial things on Instagram, and frequently calls out his A-list customers.
He publicly shamed real estate developer Michael Shvo after the millionaire allegedly waltzed past the hostess at Balthazar to head right to the best booth . McNally threatened to ban him and said, “This obnoxious, entitled behavior is the Height of Arrogance.” (Shvo’s wife claimed the story was more complicated, arguing that they behaved appropriately.)
He also banned Graydon Carter after the former Vanity Fair editor allegedly failed to show up for a reservation for 12 at McNally’s Morandi, calling him a “fancy F–ker” and saying that he “will never be allowed to make a reservation at one of my restaurants again. Never.”
“We will be making a donation today to the restaurant’s tip pool to cover what the staff would have made,” Carter told Page Six at the time.
Instead of backing down, months later, when asked by Town & Country what he wanted for the holidays, McNally grossly responded , “Graydon Carter’s head on a platter.”
