Apply 'Robz mod' first then activate 'Battalion Commander' separately afterwards otherwise skins and other features will be messed up. IF YOU DO NOT SEE ANY RANK ABOVE HEADS, apply again.

Old boy's mod requires Robz mod as it uses some of the entities and effects from it but in order for Old Boy's files to override some of Robz files it needs to be applied after Robz has been activated otherwise they will clash.
Also only run one of the Old Boy's Mod at any one time (USA or German Bn).

NOTES for those new to Battalion Commander:
The aim of this mod is to focus on LEADERSHIP and TACTICS at the same time manage and maintain limited resources and manpower.
-Private soldiers require a leader near by or they will run away.
-There is only a limited amount of men and resources.
-If your Battalion Commander dies the game will end.
-Company commanders can call in artillery strikes.
-Platoon Commanders raise the morale of troops nearby.
-Platoon Sergeants (3 stripes) have ammo satchels they can drop near troops to resupply them.
-Medics won't get shot at unless they pose a danger.
-Medics will auto-heal wounded within 50m.
-Medics take up to 10 sec to heal (so drag wounded out of a firefight)
-You gain more points for capturing POWs.
-Main characters do not have the revive option
-Drop command explosives to show detonate option

Missions:
Dunkirk, France 1940: Completed
Russia 1941: Completed
Tunisia, Africa 1943: Completed
Belgium 1944: Completed
Paras in Greece 1941:Completed
Paras in Crete 1941: Completed

PLZ MSG if you have advice and/or feedback how to improve the mod.
I don't have the time to fully test missions so if you have any issues/crashes plz send as much detail as possible.

Resupply fix

UPDATE 30MAR20
Minor fixes including POW points.

In all missions:
POWs now walk off the screen
Medics auto-heal wounded within 50m
0A can promote private soldiers
Paras will grab a rifle automatically from weapon boxes
Sergeants will auto drop Ammo satchels (Should)
Soldiers can only be healed a max of 3-5 times depending on how quick you can revive them

I am not a hard core like all of you. I think the Dunkirk mission should provide the Germans with more anti-tack guns. The British have unlimited supply of tanks and took all my guns. I got stuck 2 times already. It is commendable the effort to put these mods, but they were made for certain players only.
Hey there, im on the mission eliminate the AA Guns, I have completely cleared the map of enemies, and I have taken out all of the AA emplacements, yet there is still a red arrow pointing to where one of the guns was before I blew it up. Am I doing something wrong?
Wonderful mod! I found Russia 1941 a bit too easy though. A lot of tanks coming from swamps lol

yeah two zero has a flare gun it reloads every minute or so
Go to his side arm and select the flare gun. The flare gun, once fired, will launch a salvo. :D

How do i tell company commander to issue an artilery strike?
in the mission in africa the script does not work where you need to destroy 15 tanks played yesterday climbed the entire map but the enemy tanks do not go on the attack

hey old boy great fan of your work!! but i need to bring to your attention, now you mission for your cap the airfield the tank match up is for 41 was t-34 and Kv-1 vs Pz-3 F, Pz-4 E , and Stug-3 F. Still love your work just it out and let me know the yr before or after barbrossa. thanks

@scheiSSe cheers for that and thanks for the info. I'm anticipating Gates of Hell to be released any day (Haha which seems to be dragging) before I get back into modding.
Btw your modification is awesome and great @Old boy. But i have a question. Can you add new missions for German Bn when you have chance?
I completed mission with using 222 but i changed his ammo with motorcycle's. I didn't see any problem. If you wanna use 222 you can change his ammo @Buell.

just had the same crash with the 222 with only robz mod and German battalion commander running. Sorry for all the trouble @Old boy. should i clear my flies on my hard drive and reinstall? don't know what else to do>? Wish this was an easy fix. I see on the this mod version its still dated for the 9th of January?
@Buell @scheiSSe I'm unsure of these other mods, there maybe conflicting data. I only modded Old boys to interact with the one Robz mod. Either Old Boys ANZAC, USA or GER separately with Robz not together or other mods. Try that.
I am still having this 222 problem too. I am playing with Robz/ Robz Skins/ Robz Guns.
@old boy robz effects are still not working properly either, initial smoke round explosions are looking block like and also when a tank is penetrated and explodes.
sorry but I'm still having the same problem on the open advance mission with the 222 scout car. I've unsub/resub. Inventory in the 222 is showing ammo in a exclamation point with no texture. I'm running it with~( Robz mod/ robs effects mod Plus/ robz skins/ robs effects mod and grass mod).
Yep found and fixed a conflicting file. Tested a few missions and seems to work fine. For better AI that will require a lot more time. Im sure there's a mod out there that improves the AI.
Will try later today, thank you very much @old boy for your attention. Any remedy for the conflicting Robz effects/better AI mod?

ill wait until its ready don't want to waste time on a buggy Gem :} i have another request if you could make it possible for battalion commander to work with the ROBZ effects/super realism and better AI. the effects on some of these are really block like and not very well rendered. Thanks for the quick response and second look at your work! Yes were all waiting for Gates of Hell to be available but I'm not holding my breath.

Goddamn.

A work around for now is simply to either not call the scout cars onto the battle or if you do call them, get the two troopers out of them and use them as scout infantry instead.

I ditched the scout car and have been able to play the ''Open Advance'' level for hours without an issue.

@Major Bastard. Shit, this may take some time to go through all the mods, missions and files to hunt down conflicting info.

It's definitely the Scout Car. (sdkfz 223).

If you open its inventory the offending 'wrong' ammo shows as an Exclamation mark.
Hey @old boy, I tried it out.

First I:
Removed all mods from the mod folder, validated files.
Downloaded Robz and German Bat fresh (only have these two mods in folder now).
Activated Robz and then German Bat.
Loaded the ''Open Advance'' mission.
Called in pz grens, scout car, Pz III.

Played for about 3 mins then Crashed with the same 'Mauser' error as @Buell has listed below.

Hey sorry I havent been keeping up with the Mod, I'm waiting to see if I should switch my modding attention to Gates of Hell. whenever that comes out.
@Buell I did have a look at that issue a while back, I can't remember if I fixed it or not. When I get the chance I'll have another look.
Any help? I'm following all instructions on start up, having a crash when in direct control usually the 232 mg. I'm loading Robz 1.28.1 and Robz skins then applying old boys GER. It runs for a while then crashes. With the better AI and effects for robz it won't play at all! I just discovered this great mood from old boy and am in love with this mod! The game is as it should be. Other maps have worked fine with these other mods applied but I have had all the issues when I played the second map for German.
Any fix or recommendations on getting through the ammo/satchel crash?
