All-Ukrainian Choral Society named after M. Leontovych

The founder, artistic director and conductor of the Zaporizhia Municipal Chamber Choir is a leading choir master, head of the Zaporizhzhia department of the Ukrainian Choral Society named after M. Leontovych, member of the National Ukrainian Music Union, laureate of the International competition named after D. Bortnyanskyi - Oksana Brattseva. She started her creative career in 1992, after graduating from the Gorky State Conservatory named after М. I. Glynka. In the position of the senior teacher at the Melitopol State Pedagogical University named after B. Khmelnytskyi, she headed the Women's Choir Chapel. At the Melitopol Children's School of the Arts, she founded the vocal and choral department and created the vocal ensemble "Chereshenka" which is the laureate of international competitions in Czech Republic (1996), Bulgaria (2000 and 2010) and Slovakia (2008). In the position of teacher-methodologist of the Central Committee "Choral Conducting" of the Zaporizhia Music School named after P. Maiborody, she headed the student choir "Zaporizhia" and created the vocal ensemble "Viva del Canto". In the creative outputs of the teams: GRAND PRIX of the International Competition "Chords of Khortytsia" (2015), GRAND PRIX of the International Competition named after D. Bortnyanskyi (2016); performances at the National Philharmonic of Ukraine, named after P. Tchaikovsky; cooperation with the Zaporizhia Academic Symphony Orchestra, performances at the "Zaporizhia" TRC, "TV5", victories in the international contests in Lviv, Kyiv, Dnipro, Krakow.         While working at the Zaporizhzhia Children's School of Arts No. 1, she created the children's ensemble "O sole mio", which became a laureate of international competitions (1 s prize): "Chords of Khortytsy" Zaporizhzhia, "Raccoto di primavera" Ravenna, Italy in 2021. As a methodologist teacher, she annually provides methodical assistance as the Chairman of the jury of regional and city competitions, conducts open classes, master classes, and methodical associations for teachers of PSMNS of Zaporizhzhya region. Oksana Brattseva is the author of many arrangements for choir and vocal ensemble.

      Oksana Brattseva directs her activities to the revival and development of choral art, attracting talented young people to participate in various creative projects.

For this purpose, in 2021, she founded the first Municipal Chamber Choir in the history of the Zaporizhzhia Region. The young team became a laureate of Ukrainian and international competitions and leads an active creative life.

     For the high professionalism, creative skill, active concert activity, and significant contribution to the development of culture Oksana Brattseva was awarded many times with Acknowledgments, Certificates and Awards of the Zaporizhia Regional State Administration and the Zaporizhia City Council, she has the Award of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism "For Achievements in the Development of Culture and Art".
