Touch Won't work in recovery if its used with command "fastboot boot". You have to directly flash the zip using your previous aosp recovery.
There are two types of zips in the download link, one that is pre rooted with ofox, and one that is non rooted. I would prefer that you first flash the non rooted version and try flashing magisk in it and only flash rooted version if flashing magisk fails in non rooted version. There is a bug in the recovery due to which you can get errors if you try flashing magisk zip. It happens for some users, and for some, it does not. So, I am giving a prerooted ofox zip so that you can root device even if you get this error. You just have to flash the root ofox zip and install magisk app if needed. And you should be rooted.
Bugs:
ROMs using QuickSilver kernel are incompatible with this recovery (the recovery will get stuck on orangefox logo on those ROMs). I am looking into it and might fix it in an update.
The recovery will work on miui and most aosp ROMs. Though Battery might fail to show on miui even after flashing the zip.
If mtp does not work on connecting the device to pc, turn mtp off and on again in mount section.
