Offline Location Tracker Privacy Policy

kawaiiDango built the Pano Scrobbler app as an Free app. This app is provided by kawaiiDango at no cost and is intended for use as is. It has no ADs and no intention to profit from you in any manner.

The app does not have analytics, so I can not know how you use my app.

If you choose to use my app, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

What information I collect

Our primary purpose in collecting information is to provide you with a safe, efficient and customized experience and to provide you with Services and features that better meet your needs or requests.

Personal Information

I do not transmit personally identifiable information, such as your real name, email address, calendar entries, contact entries, files, photos, etc.

Location Tracking, which is the core feature of the app, is done by collecting information about mobile towers around you, instead of using power hungry GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth or an internet connection. It works offline. This kind of location information has very low accuracy, typically in the range of kilometers and cannot be used to precisely identify you.

The app uses the following third party services (with their respective privacy policies linked):

• Google Play Services - To show your locations on Google Maps within the app
• Mozilla Location Service (MLS) - To resolve mobile tower information into geo-coordinates
• Yandex Geolocation - To resolve mobile tower information into geo-coordinates

Location Sharing

Once the mobile tower information have been resolved into geo-coordinates, they are stored locally on the device and are NOT shared with anyone. The user might voluntarily choose to share their location with their friends via messaging apps, by clicking the share button.

Security

I do not own any of the servers. But the above mentioned third parties may have your information and take the responsiblity of keeping them secure.

Android Permissions

Location

It is used for accessing the information about mobile towers near you and thus to fulfil the core functionality of the app.

Storage

The app can put location information in photos that were taken offline while the app was recording locations. Storage permission is needed to check such photos, which do not have location information in them and to insert the closest location recorded by the app, into those photos.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
