10.23 a.m. - Hostel "Centre"

The roommate was writing last night. I ask him what it is. Business plan, he answers. I ask what he sells. I don't understand. He leaves early.

10.57 a.m. - =

In the kitchen, with Andrei, a forty years old guy. He asked me for a cigaret last night. He thought I was Russian, since I did not talk much and just said my name.
He proposes to go buy des claquettes for indoor walking. Russians have a problem with me walking around in shoes, socks, or bear feet (also, do not put foot on the couch).
Offering a cigaret to the administrative girl (another one) and we go on the balcony. They smoke, I don't.

On the way back to the hostel, we buy food in the truck shop in front of the Confucius Institute.

Pierre, Max's friend who works at Poma answered me!
Andrei asks me what french think about Putin. He drinks in a "Russian army" mug. And I don't think it's one belonging to the hostel. He asks if we could meet in Paris some day, and we talk about the institutional barriers that he'll probably encounter.

5.55 p.m. - Not far from the hostel

We do some physical exercices next to the skate park where there is equipment. My physical condition is deplorable.
Then I go to the cold water swimming club. But there is no training. The баня is under reconstruction. I don't understand if there is a team training here on the regular or not. Anyway, I leave and will come back Saturday.

8.19 p.m. - Hostel

Went to Free Time fast food since there was no training.
I have a message conversation with Pierre from Poma (French company): Poma was part of the cable-car construction site. Project stopped for now, because of internal sanction against Russia. People working to find a solution. Poma tries to intervene to unlock the situation, since they already invested money in the project. I will write a pdf explaining my project and how it could be useful for Poma, and he'll transfer it to someone, if it's interesting enough. Pierre is an engineer. He doesn't work on this project. He knows an engineer working on it. But some info might be under professional secrecy. I ask if pylons would be in the water, since the river has different meanings for Russian and Chinese.
A guy with a "Russia" tee shirt cooks a nice meal.
