Romain GressotNotes
10 a.m. - Hostel
- Hangover. Bags are made. Today I leave the hostel for a few days. I just want to test something else.
- Having tea in the kitchen. Alex notices my burial face. He shares his breakfast and manages to make me laugh, lifting up my mood.
Later - In front of the hostel
- Thinking about what I actually could ask to Olga Morozova, and how to present myself. She organised the event Russo-Chinese event.
1 p.m. - Auto parts shop
- Buying pliers to unscrew the bike crankset.

1.15 p.m. - Free Time fast food
- Recovering
4.11 p.m. - Library on Lenin Avenue
- A few days ago, I activated the Telegram option that allows you to be visible for people in the area. I think I hear someone in the library listening to the story I posted today. The sound got shut down real fast. I see no +1 view. I eather hallucinated, or the person has Telegram premium and activated the option to not show the view.
I do research about what university, or institutes could be contacted. On the Amour State University website, they oftenly have lots of news. One of them catch my attention. There is a collaboration with the university of Harbin (R1).
Evening - Hostel
- I entirely unmount the bike crankset. Clean it. Put things back in place. The problem is still here, but a smaller.
- A nice car comes out of the nicest garae in front of the hostel.
Reflections
- R1: Katia, that I've met in St-Petersburg, told me that I should learn about Harbin, since it is a Chinese city, where the Russian culture is very present. This is probably, along with Heihe, a place I would have to go see. I browse different websites and VK pages. I add a lot of new "favorites" pages in my browser application, that will soon allow me to make a list of the different institutions that are actively taking part in the "culture mechanics" process, let's say. What do they do with the social scientist technics and knowledges?
