On top of that you get approx Kurani rep or 'Magmar' and 50 warbeads which can be used for either more Kurani or Magmar or Consortium rep. The thing I noticed was yesterday the opposite faction then my own Alliance had Halaa. Then today while grinding we Horde had Halaa. So, I started grinding again a hour later and guess what, I get like 10 powder in 5 mins. Conclusion, if the opposite faction then your own has Halaa its time to grind. I was farming my last 40 powder 2 tokens for the Dark War Talbuk while a battle was raging at Halaa, which resulted in it swapping from the Horde to the Alliance. To be honest, grinding these would be hell for a healer. I started doing it on my pally my main, and who I was getting the mount for and realised I would be there for a year. So I hopped on my hunter separate account , dual boxed with my pally just on follow and lightly healing if needed, and only using him to loot if a powder dropped. In the time it took me to get 40 powder, I ended up getting roughly 10 stacks of Knothide Leather and 10 stacks of Knothide Leather Scraps - that is, I also stand to make a decent profit from this endeavour. When the servers come back up Halaa is neutral with no guards, so unless the other faction has the same idea, you can claim it fairly easily. Many of the things are present. They are spaced out a bit from each other sometimes, so having an epic flying mount is a major benefit to quick kills. They are very easy to kill and do very little damage. They also seem to drop Crystal Powder at a high rate and, even better, they drop Motes of Shadow frequently. An hour of concentrated killing of the Voidspawn can net around powders and several Primal Shadows. Комментарий от Thottbot For me, the best place to farm these is Sunspring Post, for several reasons: Mobs are readily available, even with several people farming in the area there will be enough mobs to kill. Putrifiers are casters and are relatively easy to kill. The Scavengers have roughly HP each, and are always found in groups of three, if you have AoE these will be super easy kills, and each have a chance of dropping crystal samples. Not worth the time. Been grinding there for the past couple of days and as a hunter, I can multishot and normally kill one of the scavengers with one of the hits and explosion trap the other two. Awesome spot but it sucks when others are there trying to quest. I hate having to kill people so they stop killing the mobs and it has worked several times haha. The mobs are sniffing the stuff, and when I beat them upside their head with my Thunder it knocks the crack clean out of their heads. It appears that you can only stack up or store samples. Whether it be in your bags or in the bank, once you hit samples, it does -not- seem to drop at all anymore.
