Dear Sir\Madam,

My name is (имя фамилия), I am a citizen of Belarus. 

I work as a (должность) at (название предприятия\организации, в которой работаете) in (город), Belarus.

At the moment, heads of state enterprises and institutions force their employees to sign the Open Letter of Trade Unions of the Republic of Belarus which condemns European sanctions against Belarusian enterprises and addresses the ILO.

I decided to write to you directly and I hereby confirm that I was forced to sign the Open Letter under duress and I am writing to withdraw my signature. I was threatened with dismissal if I did not sign the letter.

Employees of state-owned enterprises of Belarus who oppose the dictatorship are under tremendous pressure from their pro-government leadership. The latter threatens to fire us from work, stop paying bonuses and pensions if we do not follow their criminal instructions. 

Like many of my colleagues, I advocate the use of all possible legal means and methods that will lead to the liberation of Belarus from the dictatorship and the establishment of democracy which is essential for social justice and providing decent working conditions in my country.
