I like that this has longevity but not so long that I have little spots I have to scrub off after 24 hours, like other liquid lipsticks. As soon as this dries, there is no transference. If I eat and drink while wearing it, though, I’ll need to re-apply for better coverage, but I don’t mind that.

I’ve ordered like 93 of these for the past few years. It’s a staple for me. The only lipstick I haven’t had issues with, and stays on without rubbing away. Sad it’s hard to find now. I had to track it down like a crazy person but thanks god it’s here lol
I ordered the “Exotic, Warm Mahogany Red” and I really liked the color. It went on easily (and here’s the but), BUT it is way too matte for me and felt super-drying to my lips. I realize this product is designed to be a matte liquid lipstick, but it’s just not for me.

Fake! Do not buy
I’m gutted. This is my fav lipstick, but for the first time I ordered it online from here. I received a fake item. It’s not trademarked and the name of the colour shade is not even on the bottle. It says it’s made in Taiwan. It’s literally burning my lips, whilst I have no problem wearing the original. I want a refund.

Overall happy
I generally really like NYX products. This product on the whole is lovely, with a good applicator and lovely colours. The matte look is great, and eating and drinking hasn't been a problem for me. Like many liquid lipsticks, it is very drying. I've combatted this by starting with a thin layer of lip balm underneath, but of course this does impact the longevity. Do be careful with application, this product dries incredibly quickly so if you make a mistake you have to be fast to fix it. On the whole very happy, but you may not like this if you're not used to/not a fan of liquid lipsticks

Very good lipstick but...
I bought this lipstick about a month ago as I like the colour and was looking for a long-wear matte finish one similar to a L'Oreal one that I had but cost more than this. So far i'm really pleased with this as the colour is rich and only need to apply a layer or two and allow it to dry. Once it does dry, I can drink from a glass or mug and it stays on virtually all day. If you eat for example an apple, you may find it slightly comes off, but not overly noticeable. It also has a nice texture with a bit more moisture and not too dry as some matte lipsticks have a tendency to be (although it is a matte lipstick). The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5, is the applicator is straight and doesn't really catch all of the liquid in the tube, so slightly hard to apply to lips evenly, as if it was curved would give better control. Other than that really happy as really good price too.

This is the first time I am using NYX lipstick and I really enjoyed the colour and transfer proof part ....I am an lipstick addict who always go for something liquid matte, lightweight and absolutely needs a long-lasting lipstick...I get this on NYX lipstick...it matches with my skin and not at all dry ...I strongly recommend this to my mates...wow

Really good product. Once it dries it doesn't budge. Eating and drinking with it is totally fine. Would definitely buy again. In terms of colour it's like a nude brown with a hint of pint(I have fair skin with neither a yellow nor pink undertone). Only downside is the applicator with sucks so make sure go get a brush with it. Also one or two layers is enough. Touching it up during the day makes it too thick and doesn't look good.

This stuff…This stuff is better than most high end make up. Holy guacamole. Anytime I see my colors on sale anywhere, I scoop them up like hot cakes. They truly are flattering and lasts so long. Yes, you do have to do some maintenance during the day, but it’s really not bad. It lasts. Worth every penny, I promise you.

I like it - stays on for a good amount of time but not too long where it is actually difficult to remove. If you eat, it will stay on like a lip liner and fade in the middle - I have a more moisturizing lipstick that I apply when this happens.
This is a lip color but I only use it as eye shadow. I have a large bag of makeup and shadows, but this is my absolute favorite!!!

FINALLY! I've finally found that perfect elusive shade! After extensive research online for the right cool toned muted purple/lilac lip color, I decided on "Embellishment." Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner! 😃🎉 Might sound silly to be this happy about finding a lip color, but I'm not one of those girls that can pull off just any lipstick color. I don't have those gloriously pouty model lips. They aren't weird or anything lol, but just not that flawless, full pout that I want to draw tons of attention too, so I put my focus on more bold smoky eye makeup and keep my lips in the neutral zone. The older I've gotten though (37 now), the more I've found the importance of adding a pop of color and definition to the ol' puckeroos. Thus my dilemma finding a balance between definition without *too* much definition. With all that being said, here's a breakdown of my own traits to hopefully help some of you other gals with similar features decide if the "Embellishment" shade is right for you... I'm female, Caucasian, with light-to-medium cool toned skin, very dark brown hair (cool ash toned), and teal eyes (I call them teal because I literally can never decide if they look more blue or green, it's a blend). I look best in silver jewelry and deep cool earthy shades, such as dark teals, navy, plum, maroon, deep earthy green, black, etc. As a handy tip... If you are unfamiliar with undertones and what your own unique color profile is, an easy way to determine this is to look at the veins on your inner wrist and inner elbow. If the veins look blue, you are probably cool toned like me. Which means you have either pinkish or bluish undertones to your complexion. You look best in the colors I outlined above. As far as lipsticks go, you should look for shades with subtle blue, lilac, grey, or purple undertones (as opposed to warmer yellow, orange, golden, or olive undertones).
