I normally HATE all things gloss, because I find them too sticky, and I feel like they smudge everywhere. But this gloss was perfect I have no complaints. My lips feel moisturized and smooth the entire time, I don't feel like I have clown lips (and in fact, don't have clown lips) while I'm eating, and they leave just a little bit of stain. I love the original lip lingerie line, but find they can be a bit drying on my lips. I was recommended this product in Maison by an associate and I must say it's a beautiful brown nude for me, just what I was looking for. I'm more than happy with it and can't wait to try some other colours.
I like that this gloss is not sticky, not tacky, not goopy, wears beautifully, and the glitter makes it similar to high end glosses. I also love the scent its very subtle but sweet. I dont care too much that these can sometimes drag and its almost like patchy in some areas not sure if its the applicator or what it is. I think the price point is good and can mock some high end glosses because of how reflective and beautiful the shimmers and glitters are in these. I like the colors as well they can be used alone or with a topper. I do wish they would have stuck to the butter gloss formula because thats still better than this formula.
This gloss is absolutely beautiful! I bought the shade "bare with me," which is a really pretty light peachy nude that looks great on pale skin with neutral-to-warm undertones. It was pretty longlasting, certainly more longlasting than my other NYX glosses. The shade range not being suitable for cooler skin tones was one turn off. I couldn't find any non-peachy shades, so I won't be able to use this gloss in the winter when my tan fades. One other turn off was the taste. It tastes identical to the Intense Butter Glosses, so if you can handle those then you'll do fine with these. It's not unbearable, just a little nasty.
I bought this today and I've only applied it once yet the tube is already about 1/3 empty. I like the lip gloss, its not too sticky and has a nice scent. However, I was really disappointed to see how underfilled it was.
The formula is very runny and thin, which is a pro and a con. Plus side is you dont have to use too much to get the look you want. The down side is if youre not so careful, you could end up with lipstick outside your lip line so my tip would be to always go in with a lip liner first before applying a liquid lipstick, specifically any of the ones from the NYX Lingerie line. Other than those two very important factors, I give this lipstick a 4/5 because it really does dry up beautifully once applied and stays pretty matte for long periods of time. Another trick Ive learnt is if you want to see longer lasting lipstick, matte based or not, try patting some setting powder over lip stick. :)
I love this!!! Lip lingerie is perfect for those looking for a liquid lipstick which is semi matte (kind of a satin finish) without drying out your lips! I love this product because the colors are true to the tube, the application is easy and flawless, and it looks great! Plus, your lips feel good too!! I love this product, it should be a staple item in any womans makeup case or bathroom counter, it no only subtly covers blemishes with its tint but it also protects your skin from any harsh sun exposure with its SPF, that women of ALL color could benefit from, but above all no powder required for days when makeup doesnt feel like your mood but you still want to camouflage a blemish, without needing a full beat & allowing the skin to breath. Its perfect ladies and some gentlemen... my absolute favorite lightweight one step staple item I always reach for... I APPROVE
I was super excited when seeing these colors online! When I opened my box, the product for 2 of the lipsticks looked like it was separated but when I pumped the brush twice the product came together. The formula of this liquid lipstick is so creamy! I usually use LC which is very drying, but my lips don't feel dry at all! I can see fine lines when it dried but for me that's with all liquid lipsticks. For the lighter colors such as embellishment and honeymoon I had to apply maybe 3-4 coats to cover my natural lip color but only needed about 2 for exotic and teddy.
