The shade I was immediately drawn to was Exotic, and that is what I’m going to be reviewing for you today!

The NYX Lip Lingerie lipstick comes without an outer cardboard packaging. Instead, it comes packed in a transparent plastic film that ensures the newness of the product. The tube is made of acrylic glass and is transparent, while the cap is a glossy black color. The tube mentions every detail about the lipstick, from the ingredients to the shelf life. You get 4 ml of product with a shelf life of 18 months, which is decent for the price.
The wand of this lippie is quite interesting. It’s not flimsy at all, is long and sleek, and picks up the right amount of product so you can coat your lips in one go.
The NYX Lip Lingerie has a suede matte finish, with a consistency that is thick and moussey, and the pigmentation is opaque. On application, it feels creamy and is very easy to apply, but once it dries, it settles into a matte finish. I think that it looks and feels different from the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream, which tends to be more drying and looks a bit crusty, in my opinion.
This lipstick is not transfer-proof, but because it’s very highly pigmented, it will last on your lips for a good amount of time. It will start to fade when you eat or drink, but otherwise won’t budge. After about 5 hours of application, it feels slightly drying to me, so I really recommend using a lip balm before application.
The shade Exotic is a muted brick red, and has pink undertones, and is a perfect dupe for the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in the shade Lolita II. It looks different on each skin tone, but is very flattering on all skin tones and is a perfect nude for medium and dark-skinned beauties.
It’s also one of the very few wearable shades from this range, in my opinion, because most of the shades are way too light for Indian skin tones and will wash out the face. Exotic, however, is a gorgeous shade for everyday wear and can also be worn with party looks to balance out heavy eye makeup.
NYX Lip Lingerie is quite easy to remove. It can be removed with micellar water, but it comes off extremely easily with an oil-based cleanser.
Finally, for Rs 650, I think it’s extremely budget-friendly. The formula is very high quality, and I personally prefer is way more than the formula of NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream.
The NYX Lip Lingerie liquid lipstick offers an intense color payoff and a good quality formula for a very pocket-friendly price. I love the matte finish and the creamy application of this product. Exotic is a must-have shade from this range, and it can be worn to college, office, or even a party. I highly recommend it!

NYX Lip Lingerie Exotic : NYX Lip Lingerie is meant to quench all your nude lipstick aspirations. With their range of muted purples, nudes and peaches, you’ll have a variety of lip lingerie to choose from.
There is a wonderful similar shade in the lip cream range too the NYX Stockholm . Another NYX Lipstick BEDTIME Flirt is quite popular too!
Application is extremely simple. The Lipstick is matte so you start at the middle of your bottom lip and work your way to the top. If you use a lip liner, even better. Cover up any mistakes by applying concealer to the edges of your lips.
I have a similar shade in the same range called Bedtime Flirt. But as the name suggests, this shade is bolder and more pigmented, more exotic. The color is a dark peach color which suits the Indian complexion wonderfully. A trick to contour lips and giving them more definition is to apply one color all over the lips and then highlighting the center of the bottom lip and the cupids bow by applying one shade lighter.
I have three shades of NYX Lip Lingerie and this one I like best because it’s very versatile. I would definitely recommend anything NYX.

I know, I’m obsessed! I just feel liquid lipsticks are better because they tend to be longer wearing and can be applied with precision. However not all liquid lipsticks are amazing! Let’s see how the NYX Lip Lingerie in Exotic performed!

The Lip Lingerie Line is available on Nyx’s website for $7 as well as retailers in the US like CVS and Ulta! It’s also available at Priceline in Australia for $15 and in the UK at Boots for ‎£6.50
Now I’m all for looking for affordable good makeup. I love a good bargain, and when drugstore products work just as well or better then high end products, I feel like I’ve hit the jackpot. More on that later, lets focus on this liquid lipstick in particular!
So my color preference in circling around all sorts of nudes, particularly, orangey / peachy browns. I love them on my skin tone! Sadly I haven’t been able to find my perfect color yet. So I’m on the lookout. When I saw Exotic online I thought maybe this is the color I’ve been looking for. So I ordered it.
Now I was a bit nervous ordering a NYX liquid lipstick because I absolutely HATE the soft matte lip creams. I don’t know how people wear them or how they are so popular. However I do love the liquid suede formula so I was hoping the lip lingerie line was a hit rather than a miss.
First of all let me just say, sadly it wasn’t as orange as I thought it was going to be, rather more of a pink brown which is what I seem to have too many of in hopes of finding the perfect color. It’s really frustrating! Regardless the color is still pretty.
Formula wise, it’s a thick mousse like consistency. It applies smoothly on the lips and is pretty opaque. It dries down matte but not transfer proof. It’s not uncomfortable but it does get drying with time.
including eating and drinking – It held up pretty decently. There is a bit of fading and the product has just come off the middle. But its otherwise still intact!

• Lip prep is key! You don’t want to be licking your lips constantly • Use a lip liner underneath for more depth in the corners
Whilst it’s not my favourite liquid lipstick formula, it’s still one of the better ones, considering it is drugstore. I think this line is nice for those people who stray away from colored lip products. The formula is decent, as it lasts decently as well and it’s pretty light on the pocket.
