In a great location and Newcastle city centre is 2 stops, would highly recommend! We got in quite late but Mark was welcome us in and chat to us for a while. The flat is absolutely beautiful and clean. The location is great with the metro station quite close by. Over all a great stay. Fantastic stay! Very clean. Everything was just perfect. Mark is a great host and very welcoming. The location is perfect for those who want to explore local neighbourhoods. There were no issues at all with communication, check-in and check-out and Mark went above and beyond to accommodate my stay. The bed was incredibly, I had one of my best sleeps ever. I would highly recommend Mark as a host and I would love to come back one more time. Many thanks Mark! Excellent stay in a beautifully designed home that i would more than happily stay at again! Could not of asked for anything more. Marks place is stylish, clean, got everything you need and more hair dryer shampoos etc. Mark is a lovely guy who makes you feel so at home in his house. Kamil is a great, easy-going and welcoming host and his place is cozy, full of comfort and close to facilities and remarkable Newcastle sites. The room is tidy, clean and has a wonderfully comfortable bed. I would recommend it to everyone. Kamil was a great and very friendly host and the check in arrangements were very easy I met him at his place of work in Newcastle city centre and he gave me a lift to his home. The bathroom and separate toilet were also spotlessly clean towels and toiletries were provided. Guests have full access to the very well-equipped kitchen — I appreciated being able to store drinks and a couple of sandwiches in the fridge. Highly recommended! Kamil was super helpful, super welcoming, super kind and full of great recommendations in Newcastle! Very comfortable bed and the cleanliness of the flat is superb. We were staying to visit the Freeman Hospital and it was a perfect location for this, around 5mims by car. The place was easy to reach, beautiful, clean and provided everything we wished for. We had the perfect time in Newcastle and would wholeheartedly recommend this apartment to everyone looking to spend a few days! Comfortably large enough for two couples and visitors and a min walk from shops, cafes and supermarkets. Bedrooms were comfortable and warm. There is a bit of noise from the boiler in one of the bedrooms but was otherwise quite - no street noise. Recommended and we would stay again. Undercover parking was provided in the complex. The location is good - easy access to central Newcastle over the High Level Bridge about 15 minutes walk. George is an amazing host and tries his very best to make you feel comfortable during the stay. Very central location and good value for money. Good kitchen facilities and comfortable single bed. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the room was extremely cold whilst I was there, I struggled to stay warm. I mentioned this to the host and he quickly and kindly gave me an electric heater and although this provided some heat, during the night I remained cold as the window has single glazing, which was a little unpleasant. She can give you advice where to eat or give you an umbrella if the weather is miserable: Very cosy room and central. Own entrance, which is nice, and quiet despite being in town. Rachel c helpful and quick with responses. Rachel was very kind and I appreciated how flexible she was with checking in. I came a bit earlier than expected, but she was still able to accommodate me. The room itself is very unique with a record player and writing desk, which I thought were really cool! The location is superb, with just a hop and skip away from the train station. Both Lynne and her husband Gary were excellent at hosting, providing a very friendly service. There was also a wide selection of complementary food and toiletries. My wife and I highly recommend staying with Lynne and Gary as they are very welcoming and will help with any questions you may have about seeing the local attractions. Lynne and Gary welcomed us and showed us the lovely studio apartment which was very clean, comfortable, modern, bright and designed to make the best use of the available space. There is a really nice shower room and plenty of well placed sockets. The studio was thoughtfully and fully equipped for self catering so would be perfect for a longer stay. There was a very useful information booklet with lots of suggestions for places to visit. We had a wonderful short break and are very grateful to Lynne and Gary for sharing their home in this very pleasant northern suburb of Newcastle. This is our second time back here since August last year. Our stay was nice and pleasant. Lynne and her husband were flexible with check-in, they are very polite and easy-going and the place itself is luxurious with everything you need including a fully functional kitchen suitable for both light and more ambitious cooking. In addition, there are quite a few nice touches such as snacks, breakfast and small bottles of wine. We will definitely be back if we are in the area again at some point. The studio is beautiful and has all modern fittings. We thoroughly enjoy our stay and would book again. Location is superb! Mohamed is extremely friendly and responsive, and kindly allowed early check in and late check out. Owner Mo is really nice and friendly we did have some convo and happy to know each other during our stay. Very close to the station. We had a fantastic stay, this location is walking distance to the town centre, quayside, clubs and restaurants nearby, the rooms are spacious and newly furnished. The shower is an experience itself with fantastic pressures. I would definitely recommended and be staying in the future with additional discount. This apartment was perfect for my needs. I was on business in Newcastle and also needed a space to work. It provided all of that. There was an issue with the water supply on day 1 but Nasir and his colleague Mel were easily contactable and kept me informed about the resolution of the issue which in fact was a building wide problem and no fault at all of Nasir. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. This visit was during the snow so I could not make it. My colleague who was also down for a meeting said the accommodation was fine and very good location for the University. I am sure I would use it again as and when I was coming down for a meeting. Good location to pubs and quayside. Few things to be fixed eg lights etc but overall it was a pleasant visit. Perfect property for what we needed, we were met at the apartment to be given the keys, Nasir had great communication would recommend. The location had an easy access to public transport and an uber ride was cheaper than expected. Emma is a really loving and open hearted host. Check in was super easy and you can get to the Airbnb easily with public transport from the main station. The living room is nice and the kitchen has everything you need to cook by yourself. We defiantly recommend to go to the pub quiz which Emma and her friends are hosting every Wednesday in the free trade inn. Emma recommended different cool spots in the area and she knows where to hike: Food wise we can recommend fat hippo, milers and carters steakhouse, grain gets market, the quayside market on Sunday and the Tyneside cinema bar. If you like do to do sports the exhibition park is great for a run and the chain puregym offers affordable monthly passes. The Tyneside cinema is a great experience as well! Everything was lovely and clean, within walking distance of everything you could need. Felt very at home and would recommend! Definitely worth every penny and not the last time we stayed there! The apartment is great with plenty of space in the bedroom, a nice bathroom, and a very comfortable couch in the spacious living room. There were great breakfast ingredients, a hot shower and a drawer of medical supplies if needed! Despite the late arrival time, our hosts were friendly, nice and welcoming. I booked in to stay for one night while I attended an interview, and now I intend to stay for one night every week to get to my new part-time job in Newcastle, so a lucky place to stay! Emma-Claude provided a welcoming home away from home, a quiet and comfy place to stay after a long train journey and a space to feel refreshed and collected. This flat is fantastically equipped with everything you might need. Emma even supplied some food for us upon our arrival. There was milk and butter in the fridge along with a great selection of teas and coffees too. This flat is very much a home from home. It is clean, bright, tidy and modern. A convenient place to stay, Alex was very good at replying and flexible with our check-in and allowed us to use his kitchen to prepare our dinner. The apartment itself is great. There was instead a lock box for which I had been given a code for. Again it too me a while to get hold of anyone and was told an incorrect code before the right one. Once in the apartment all was good until I went to use the WiFi. The description said the password was on the back of the router, the only problem being was that there was no router at all, just a phone socket so I had no WiFi. Nice apartment in great location. No communication from the host, never answered the phone. We called several times. NO wifi as offered. Toilet seat broken, blinds in the room broken. No soap to clean your hands, etc. This place was at a good location, but that was the only good thing about it other than that everything else was poor. There was no soap at all, or even shower gel of any sort. Lamps not working properly in rooms or living area also there was no WiFi at all despite saying there will be. Communication with the host was poor too, tried to communicate the host but there no reply at all. I would not recommend this to anyone travelling and definitely will not be staying here again. The flat is just as it is in the photos, great location a few minutes walk from central station. Not all amenities listed are available: No soap, shampoo No wifi. This duplex is only a short walk from the city center, which was very convenient. Large enough place for a family to stay. Disappointed with the cleanliness of the place, and having to pay a cleaning fee, I expect the place to have been cleaned properly after the previous people staying. The duplex does smell like smoke, which is off-putting. This place could be so great with some simple changes, but it seems not well maintained. Great flat - duplex very close to the Quayside. A short walk over the bridge offers good views. Clean, bright and hotel-esque because of the amenities provided. Laura from QS was great - confirmed booking quickly and provided detailed instructions on self check-in. Would recommend. Never had an issue before using AirBnB, but this is a property to avoid. General feeling of having been ripped-off and wish we had chosen an alternative. The issues are extensive but can be best summarised as: Very unclean apartment. We would not cook in the kitchen, which had dirty dishes left in the dishwasher, visibly dirty surfaces, a sticky dining table and a disgustingly greasy extractor hood. Punched holes in doors of bedrooms. Dirty sinks in bathrooms. None of the floors had been mopped, swept or vacuumed. Hazardous no light at top of stairs pitch black and made even more dangerous as we had to carry a toddler up the stairs and loose door handles Faulty blinds Lack of provision to clean the apartment No Wi-Fi and a lack of willing to resolve the issue when we complained No basics e. A great apartment which we just used to sleep. We parked in the designated secure parking then got Uber taxis everywhere. Fantastic value for the price! Highly recommended. There is a TV in one of the bedrooms but it is not hooked up to a TV aerial. The apartment has two double bedrooms one with a balcony attached to it, which you have full access too. The sitting room doubles up as another bedroom when needed. I have been told the sofa bed is not the most comfy sleeps. In the past we have had problems with the drainage in the bathroom because of guests flushing wet wipes and sanitary towels down the toilet. The open plan living area and second bedroom are built around the curved wall of a tower, perched at the top of Bottle Bank and part of the Curzon Place development. The curved space and wall to wall windows give panoramic views over Newcastle, the Tyne and Tyne Bridge and the Norman Foster designed Sage.
