I don't know if you've seen this place before but I recently stumbled upon it very luckily during a google search today! It's full of amazingly written desperation stories and such. The trouble however is that in order to read the x-rated stories (most of them) you must register on the site.
When I try to register the site tells me it will send an email to confirm my profile however I don't ever get an email. Nothing in my spam folder, nothing in my mailbox, nothing at all. I've tried resending the email and even switching emails but have had no luck at all. Anyone know anything that might help?

Ah, I've posted my stories on there, as well as a long-untouched Interactive story from ages ago, Gmail isn't so bad, they ask for a phone number so if they suspect your account has been compromised they send you a text to confirm you're legit. Nyou Fiction sometimes can be odd like that, try gmail at the very least.

Yahoo! occasionally defers (delays) messages sent from this server, but has never outright blocked us, and AOL has had the server blacklisted for I think years now (which is why we don't allow anyone to even attempt registration with an AOL e-mail address now). AOL is certainly not surprise, a lot of sysadmins I know have had issues with AOL.
Hotmail has blacklisted my servers a couple times, but I've always been able to work with them to get the blocks removed, and haven't had an issue with them in over a year. Gmail I've never had problems with. It's not uncommon for messages to go to spam with Gmail, but I've never had Gmail place a block on any of the mail servers I manage. I would think Gmail should work for you, though it may take up to a few hours for the validation e-mail to arrive.

I believe registration from, let's call them "hot" IP's, can result in required phone validation on registration. Using Tor is almost a sure-fire way for this to happen, or any other open proxy. Or if there's been a large amount of general abuse from your IP over a set period of time (from other clients on your ISP).
But usually no, it's not required. When it is required, it's required as an abuse deterrent. If you're trying to register for Gmail through Tor, don't.
Registering with gmail didn't help, I never got an email and now gmail has my number for nothing :(

emails have been fixed again, though have noticed hotmail seems to be blocking/returning emails coming from the mail server it's on.
Still no dice on the emails, haven't gotten a thing :(
