Cut-to-size orders have an acceptable cut tolerance of 1/8" (0.125"), so clarify if the adjustment is to be made on the (+) or (-) side of the saw blade. Since custom cuts and fabricated parts are non-refundable, be very careful while measuring your dimensions. As each cut is nominal, even the slightest miscalculation could be costly.

Extend your tape measure several inches to find the 1 and 2 inch markers. In between the inch markers you’ll find 16 equally spaced tick marks.

Measure by counting the increments beyond the nearest inch. As the increments decrease, so does the length of the mark. For example, 1/2" has a bigger mark than 1/4" which has a bigger mark than 1/8". The smallest mark follows at 1/16". Please be aware that some measuring tapes may have even smaller increments.

The sliding end hook is designed for two different types of measurements. An outside measurement (where the hook of the tape hangs over an edge), requires the hook to slide out a bit to account for the thickness of the material. When making an inside measurement (where the hook will push up against a surface), the clip slides in, again, accounting for its thickness. The measuring tape self-adjusts to guarantee an accurate measurement (as far as the tape is concerned).
Nyloil rod is carefully dispersed with an oil-based lubricant during the manufacturing process. The result is a high crystalline, internally homogeneously lubricated, high-strength polymer with enhanced wear and reduced friction properties. Nyloil cast nylon rod is green in color, other colors upon request.

Nylon is a tough, stable engineering thermoplastic with a high modulus of elasticity, high strength, good rigidity, dimensional stability, resistance to moisture, solvents and other chemicals.
Lubrication results in 25% lower coefficient of friction than other grades of NYLON. Reduced water absorption promotes higher dimensional stability. Oil will not spin out, dry out, or drain out, even under the harshest operating conditions.
Nylon in non-fibrous castable form is used almost exclusively for mechanical purposes such as gears and sprockets. In fibrous forms, Nylon has many textile applications.

This was hard to find. I voiced my concerns over if this would work for us, and generally was impressed with Interstate Plastics. Never had to leave a voicemail which is a big plus in my book.
This is the best price I could find online and the salesmen were so helpful in helping me get exactly what I need.
I have tried to order this a couple times online and both times interstate has been out of stock and had to order it. I recommend calling to check inventory. I did this yesterday and they were able to quote me on the phone and give me a time frame to get the material. Very helpful over the phone.
