Easy to use & the pen is perfectly sized & doesn't smear even when handled immediately after writing. TIP FOR COLOR CODING (see my photos) - Rather than using the same color on each end of a cord, I did this: Where cords are detachable from the device/equipment, use red tabs on the ends of the cords that plug into the equipment (see the 2 cords plugged into my monitor). Use blue tabs on the ends of cords that plug into a hub/docking device (see all the cords with blue tabs, including the monitor cord, plugged into the hub). Use yellow tabs on the ends of cords that plug into power (see all the cords with yellow tabs, including the monitor cord, plugged into the surge protector). Obviously you can use whatever colors you choose, but the idea is that the color tells you where to plug it in, and the word tells you what device or equipment it belongs to. This makes it much easier to set things up after a move.

I used these for re-labeling all my speaker wires in one of my home theater setups. They replaced the masking tape labels which aren't the easiest thing to work with. It's tough writing on the tape and then trying to stick it in the correct spot. An added bonus is that they come in different colors. I used yellow for the three front speakers, red for the surround speakers, green for the Dolby Atmos speakers, and blue for the back surround speakers. Next time I move my home theater it will make it much easier putting things back together. One nice touch was the pen they included. I was going to use my fine point Sharpie until I discovered I had left the lid cover loose and it was dried out. That saved a trip to the store. The writing area on the labels is adequate. I would recommend a fine point permanent marker if you don't use their pen.

This style of cable tie is a very good idea for those that need to label their cable tie. However, it is a bit see-through so you can see what is on the backside from the front side. The included marker was abysmal. A sharpie worked much better.

You might think a product this simple would work without issues. Nope.
At room temperature, the ties are brittle and continuously break if tightened down on a narrow cord. I was really starting to get angry, but found a solution.
To use these ties, you MUST let them soak in a mug of hot water for a couple minutes, tag end down, immediately before use. This makes the plastic flexible enough not to break. Problem solved, but kind of a hassle.
Oh, and you should plan on buying a Sharpie. The pen provided barely worked right out of the package and dried out to useless after only a short while.
The only reason this gets two stars is that with my own Sharpie and a mug of hot water, I could get them to actually work as intended.
Generally not recommended, but similar products look much the same. Hopefully, reading their reviews might prove helpful.

The zip tie part works great, its the marking part. The pen barely works, in fact I'd give that part a 0. Also the colors are too dark to read any marking except on the white and yellow.

Better to get a white sticker to write on then stick to these.
