I haven't used this yet but I think it will work for what I wanted

Size: Cut by the Yard Color: Neon Green Verified Purchase

Nice neon green pack cloth. Used to make a lightweight UTV umbrella top.

Size: Yard Color: Black Verified Purchase

I sewed a quick-drop blackout shade for the sidelight window alongside my classroom door. It may have not needed it, but I hemmed the sides and bottom.

Great color, and material feels very durable for its weight. Bought this to make some gear holding accessories for camping and wanted a color that would be easy to find by flashlight in a bag full of other gear, and too bright to miss while packing up camp if I dropped it on the ground, and this fits the bill nicely. It's not *quite* as bright as hi-vis construction worker style yellow-green, but more of a very bright lime green, so hard (impossible?) to miss but not eye-squinting bright either. I've been using it in combination with some plain black or grey pack cloth and some "dragonfly" patterned paracord for attachment points and I'm very pleased with the color combination. Tried taking some pics but the camera in my phone isn't that great, the color is much more vibrant in real life. As you can see in one pic, the fabric is slightly transparent when held against something with contrasting colors (in this case, the bottom of my camp cookset which is black and silver), so take note of that if you're planning on making clothing and like to wear zebra striped undies or anything like that. Thinking of also making a backpack with this same color combination for visibility while biking. If you want to sew something that's hard to ignore but won't give you a migraine either, this is the way to go.

Got this to make a custom backpack for long distance unicycle rides. Green seem to be the available high visibility color, so I went with that. Not until it was finished did I realize it would turn me into a ninja turtle. I can live with that... unicycles are not the fastest, but awesome anyway. Shows some honest dirt - tried hand washing it when it was new and found I was holding several gallons of water in a bag. It's held up fairly well - I used a double thickness for the bottom of the main compartment just to be sure, reinforced all critical seams especially the strap attachments. A little scuffing from when I fell off and rolled onto it (not to mention a "little scuffing" on my knee, too)...

We bought this material to make canopy covers for our two kayaks. The color is what we expected and there were no problems cutting and sewing the material. Obviously, it will take months or years to determine how well it stands up to continuous exposure to the sun and weather, but we are pleased with the appearance. Update 12-31-17: still holding up well, but the color started fading by the second month.

Size: Cut by the Yard Color: Neon Green Verified Purchase

The material itself is nice, but the box it was sent in must have been dirty inside because the material (bright lime green) arrived dirty. It looks like it was sliding around in the box making a long dark mark across the whole roll. Bummer. Wrapping the roll in tissue or even kraft paper would have prevented this.

Nylon cloth was developed by the outstanding American scientist Carothers and a scientific research group under his leadership. It is the first synthetic fiber to appear in the world. Nylon is a saying of polyamide fiber (nylon). Nylon cloth is mainly used for synthetic fibers, and its most prominent advantage is that its wear resistance is higher than all other fibers, which is 10 times higher than cotton and 20 times higher than wool. Slightly add some polyamide fibers to the blended fabric. Greatly improve its wear resistance; when stretched to 3-6%, the elastic recovery rate can reach 100%; can withstand tens of thousands of deflections without breaking. Nylon invention: DuPont actively promotes the implementation of this patent. In view of the general defects in the long stockings at that time, DuPont decided to first put nylon fibers into the socks market. The nylon stockings with wear resistance, heat resistance and chemical resistance were immediately sought after by consumers and were regarded as rare things. Panic buying; nylon was also quickly used to manufacture parachutes, aircraft tire cords and other military and civilian products; making it a very valuable commodity in the Second World War. The birth of nylon has promoted the development of polymer research, laid the foundation for the synthetic fiber industry, and also brought a new look to textiles. However, W. Carothers himself fell into severe depression, long-term work pressure, lest the research could not bring benefits to the company, plus his 62616964757a686964616fe59b9ee7ad9431333431376632 loved sister died suddenly on April 29, 1937 The hotel room in Philadelphia committed suicide by taking cyanide. At this time, only three weeks after the above patent application, he was only 41 years old. He is an outstanding American chemist. He studied the structure of high molecular weight substances and the polymerization reactions that produced them, which not only led to the invention of nylon and neoprene, but also promoted the rise and development of synthetic fibers.
