We encourage all prospective and current members to renew during the open renewal period mid-April to May 31st to receive a full year of membership. NYLA establishes several hotel blocks for our event. Attendees are responsible for making their own hotel accommodations. Conference Registration Conference registration rate information for our 2026 event will be added in June. Registration for this years event will launch in late July. NYLA is affiliated with the American Library Association as the New York Chapter of that national body. Members of the state association include librarians of public, system, school, college and university and many special libraries, library trustees, and friends of libraries. NYLA is pleased to offer affordable and convenient online professional development via webinars. NYLA e-webinars are delivered via Zoom and are typically one hour or ninety minutes in duration.
