Nutella French Toast Recipe

Ingredients

• 2 tablespoons Nutella + more for topping
• 4 bread slices
• 1 large egg
• 1/2 cup whole milk
• 2 tablespoons sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 tablespoon butter for pan

Instructions

Step 1 

In a bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, vanilla extract, sugar.

Step 2

Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large pan over medium-high heat.

Step 3

Spread a layer of Nutella chocolate spread between two slices of bread. Roll pieces of toast on the egg-milk mixture making sure all sides are covered.

Step 4

Place in pan and repeat with the other toasts until the pan is filled but the pieces are not touching each other. Turn them until all sides are golden.

Step 5

Transfer to a serving plate, top with strawberries, and drizzle with melted Nutella.
