Sarah Nurse was born on January 4, 1995, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada where her astrological sign is Capricon
The Nurse family is aware of its athletic heritage in the meantime. Fans and onlookers typically only need to look at the back of their jerseys to recognize them. Her parents are Mrs. Paul Nurse and Mr. Roger Nurse, and she is one of their two children.
She also has a brother by the name of Isaac Nurse. She also has some well-known cousins and uncles, including basketball player Kia Nurse, NFL player Donovan McNabb, and CFL player Richard Nurse (Basketball player).
Sarah’s passion and love for ice hockey began when she was a child. During her stay at her grandparents’ house, she would frequently watch Women’s hockey matches, and it had always been her dream to break into the international scene.
Sarah Nurse has been involved in ice hockey since she was a high school student. Her high school team competed in the Ontario Women’s Hockey Association (OWHA) provincials.
Sarah and Stoney Creek won a silver medal back then. Following that, she won bronze at the 2010 OFSSAA championships and silver at the 2011 OFSSAA championships.
She also scored the most goals during the season of the Provincial Women’s Hockey League (PWHL). Additionally, she was named to the OWHA All-Star Team. The following season, she served as Stoney Creek’s alternate captain.
During her time on the team, Sarah assisted in the team’s PWHL championship bronze medal. Not to mention, the pair led the league in scoring, with Sarah scoring 35 goals, including a hat-trick.
Sarah’s most significant international involvement occurred during the National Women’s Under-18 Championship in 2011 and 2012. She won a gold medal in 2011 and a bronze medal in 2012 with the members of Team Ontario Red.
She then competed in the 2013 IIHF World Women’s U18 Championship, where they won the gold. A year later, at the 2015 4 Nations Cup, her team defeated Finland to win the gold medal once more.
With her team, Sarah Nurse participated in the Winter Olympics for the first time in 2018. She later recorded her most important goal against the Americans while the sporting event was taking place in Pyeongchang, South Korea. She then helped her team win the silver medal after that.
Regarding her most recent appearance with the Canadian team, they participated in the 2020 National Hockey League All-Star Game.
Sarah first became a member of the CWHL through the Toronto Furies’ 2018 draft selection. Soon after, in October of the same year, she scored her first goal, which ended up being the game-winning goal.
Sadly, Sarah hasn’t provided a lot of information about her career earnings and net worth. She does, however, have a net worth that ranges from $2 to $4 million, according to estimates.
In fact, Sarah has a number of sponsorships and brand deals in the works. Well, Addidas sponsors her deal for her clothing and equipment.
She worked on two limited-edition Barbie dolls in November 2020 with Mattel and Tim Hortons. For the Barbie’s You Can Be Anything initiative, they created Barbie dolls based on Sarah and hockey player Marie-Philip Poulin.
Girls all over the world were motivated by this program, which introduced them to role models to show off their boundless potential.
In terms of her dating life, Sarah Nurse has not been associated with any scandals or dating rumors. Our athletic woman is currently single and appears to be concentrating on her career and games.
