We offer online support groups, a place to come as you are in a safe and healing place. The facilitator will hold space for you and your peers and empower you with the experience of being heard. Sharing your story with the nursing community helps you process the experience and trauma of working in healthcare- both during and before the pandemic. Our support groups are one hour sessions, occurring weekly on Google Meet. We would love to have you join us.
Our New to Practice Nurse Support group is a space just for new to practice nurses led by an experience nurse mentor/ Support Group Nurse Facilitator. Here, you will find community, compassion, and support to help you on your journey of becoming a nurse. We would love to have you join us!
Founder of Nurses Supporting Nurses
In May 2020, I accepted a travel nurse contract and left for Washington, D.C. to work as a Covid RN. The past two years I have worked along side many nurses, CNAs, NPs, and other members of the health care team, and I have seen their pain, burn out, trauma, and frustration. I felt a call to help create a space for nurses to receive nursing care- to be heard and heal. What started with a support group is now turning into a community. Please join me as we work to heal and become more whole and healthy people and nurses.
Thank you for being here, it is an honor to work to heal the healers. Sending you love & light on your journey.

I am excited to share that I will be facilitating a support group for nurses! The past 2 plus years have been tough. We all have gone through hard times- both personally and professionally. I have been feeling a pull to find a way to help support my fellow nurses. To give them a place to be heard and find community. Healthcare in general has failed to support nurses and all healthcare workers mental health during this time. This is my small attempt to reach and help at least one person. This support group is open to any nurse- LPN, RN, NP, PhD, CRNA in any field of nursing.
Our sessions will meet every Wednesday at 8pm EST for four weeks in March (9, 16, 23 30). We will meet on Google Meet- so you will need to create a google account to join (this is easy and free!) I will send you an email with the code for our meeting room before each session. During the session, the floor will be open to discuss anything the group wants. We can choose a topic, or simply share our stories and what is on our hearts. This group will be a space to find community amongst fellow nurses.
To further enhance your experience with this group, you will also receive a weekly email. This email will include journal prompts and words of encouragement. Nothing in the email is required, just other options to work through your current thoughts and feelings.
This is the first time I have ever hosted anything like this so I am starting with a group specifically for nurses. However, if it is well received, I hope to have groups in the future for nursing students, CNAs, and eventually all healthcare workers. We all need love and support.
I would really appreciate if you shared this blog post and/or my social media post to help get the word out. If you are not a nurse, or if this does not feel right for you, I would still appreciate if you share! I feel that a safe place to come to share thoughts, feelings and receive community and support is so needed right now. I hope you will consider joining us in this group, or one in the future.
To Join The March Nurses Supporting Nurses Support Group, please fill out the form below! You will receive a Welcome Email with more information soon!
If you are not ready to join- or you are a CNA, nursing student, or other healthcare worker that would be interesting in a group in the future- please subscribe to the blog at the bottom of the page to receive updates
I hope you will be able to join us for this support group. I think it will be helpful for all of us to have a place to go for community and support. If you have any questions, please do not hesistate to send me an email at peacelovenursingblog@gmail.com . Also, please follow me on Instagram for more information on our support group and other self care and mental health resources.
