Nurse Cat is an Uber Rare Cat that can be unlocked by playing the Rare Cat Capsule/Gacha during The Dynamites event. True Form added in version 6.7 increases attack damage, health, range and movement speed.

Evolves into Heartful Nurse Cat at level 10.

Evolves into Joyful Nurse Cat at level 30 using Catfruit

Nurse Cat is very useful to control large groups of Black and Floating enemies, as she can keep them slowed down and knocked back, and strike them again a few seconds after her ability effect passes. She is also useful in stages where you are rushed by fast Floating or Black enemies, like Shy Boy , Gory Black and Shadow Boxer K . Her downside is that sometimes her abilities won't trigger, which can be troublesome in some occasions and lead to disaster, so it isn't recommended to rely too much on her as your main crowd-controller.

Her Knockback ability is good across the board against Floating and Black enemies, but is especially shown against Le'noir , Dark Otter and Razorback , whose knockback counts are low. However, this is useless for practically every other Black enemy; as they have a high knockback count.

She can be quite useful due to her good range and constant attack because Black enemies tend to be very fast and appear in groups, which often makes them break through your defenses easily. Due to her low-ish health, it is recommended to use meatshields and cheaper attackers like Paris Cat or Cameraman Cat to protect her.

One of the best things about Nurse Cat is that due to her relatively low recharge time, as she can be stacked up easily to wreak havoc.

Joyful Nurse Cat gains more health, more damage, 25 more range and doubled speed. Most of these are basic improvements that improve this unit's general strength, making her an overall better unit, but her range actually stands out. Despite having her range increased by only 25, this allows her to now outrange notorious backliners like THE SLOTH and Master A , improving her range of usage on the enemies made to counter Bahamut and his 450 range. Overall, a worthwhile True Form if you think Nurse Cat needs some general improvements across the board.

Do not bother upgrading Nurse's damage and health, unless she's your only good generalist, as her stats are quite lacking. Improving her abilities to happen 80% of the times is what makes the difference, allowing her to control crowds of Black and Floating enemies with much more ease, but it still won't make up for the uptime. Lastly, there is Curse Immune , which mainly helps against the Relic Doge Base , but only consider this one if you feel like you are using Nurse in stages that feature it and her targets often.

Her warm smile and healing aura take away the sting of her piercing syringe (Area attack) Might knock back Black/Floating enemies.
