Nukus buying marijuana

Traveler's tips about weed in Nukus, Uzbekistan. As you all know cannabis regulations differ in different countries, so the point of this article is to cover marijuana laws in Nukus, attitude of police and local inhabitants, weed VS hash availability and price range, my own experience related to weed in Nukus. My trip to Nukus is over, these 10 days were perfect, so while memory is fresh I decided to write this post, who knows may be useful to someone. Being a regular cannabis smoker I could not imagine my stay in Nukus without some daily joints. So from the very first day of my stay I started looking for weed…. Although only medical cannabis is allowed in Nukus, the locals are absolutely ok with the smokers. Local dealers have big cash from the students and tourists, so they are their weed target audiences in Nukus. You shouldn't allow yourself to smoke anywhere, for example in bars, but nobody is surprised if you get caught smoking weed in a secluded corner of the street. One more interesting fact from my new friend Sam - even some cops in Nukus prefer smoking weed over drinking strong. Generally, the local stance on cannabis is quite laid-back, so you might start feeling at ease in Nukus after enjoying a single quality joint, and I can attest to this from my own experience. Sam graciously shared a wonderfully satisfying sativa joint with me, even though he wasn't sure about the specific strain. It's safe to say that cannabis consumption is quite prevalent in Nukus. I inquired with Sam about the possibility of obtaining his dealer's contact information because the quality of the product was exceptional. He explained that his specific dealer doesn't take on new clients, so he graciously offered to be my supplier during my vacation, which turned out to be an ideal arrangement. I hope everyone has the chance to encounter their own Sam in one of Nukus's bars. During the time Sam had been my dealer it was the solving of all my issues he was telling me about how the things were going in Nukus. High rated providers in Nukus buy the cannabis on darknet websites that maintain gross orders. These orders can contain a big amount of weed and hash, kilograms I think. Some websites work on small orders too, so if you are close to Tor browser working and know how to. This site has all the information needed about darknet. While if you are having a short vacation or a trip to Nukus and need not much weed right now or tomorrow - only local weed dealers may assist you. You may still use oldschool approach and hustle dark streets or parks in search of strange person who will sell you some joint for cash, but not sure this is the best way to spend your time in Nukus. Nowadays almost all dealers have gone online and crypto already, so hustling the streets may simply not work. Now the weed-selling process looks like this - you find some messenger contacts of a local dealer ask some barmans or simply google , contact him and choose what you would like to order, pay in crypto and get your stuff delivered to a hotel or some pre-selected location. Personal meetings are something dealers try to avoid - so weed is usually dropped at some approximate point you firstly discuss, and you get photo and GPS coordinates where to take your package after delivery. But after crypto became something you may exchange to real cash, and do not need to meet in person to transfer it - cash started losing its points in the drug business. Sam also commented that now if you do not know crypto - you have a friend who is keen on bitcoins and all that shit, so you may simply ask him to help and do a crypto transaction for you. And I really have such friends, so yep, agree. You should know that storage and distribution of non-medical cannabis is forbidden and strictly regulated by laws of Uzbekistan. This means you can not go and buy some good weed in an official shop like you may do in Canada for example. On my first evening in Nukus I met Sam who moved here a couple of years ago. I got lucky - he was one of the heavy weed smokers, so he agreed to share a joint with me and tell me some stories about local dealers. As he said from the very beginning - even though weed is prohibited in Nukus - cops are overall calm and relaxed in everything related to cannabis, this made me feel better. As Sam told me - for not to be arrested you can carry less than 10g of cannabis or 5g of hash. For the same purpose you should be sane and not use drugs in public places. Cops can just check if you are going to sell marijuana or not and confiscate it. There are some possibilities that cops could try to get money from you if they catch you with weed in Nukus. It is not a frequent story, but you should keep in mind that some cops prefer to force you to pay some money for your calmness. But not to propose money first because it can be regarded as a separate crime. Police should check if you are a real dealer who delivers stuff or a tourist. Usually city visitors with small weights are not touched. No, weed with high THC is strictly regulated in Nukus, while police officers and locals are relaxed about cannabis and having less than 10 grams with you should result in arrest. Yes you still may, while this is oldschool way already and a lot of dealers are shifting to online orders, but searching parks and streets may still give you some results. Yes, a lot of dealers sell both weed and hash, so hash is also popular and can be found in Nukus. Not all dealers have it, but it is still rather popular. Have not purchased low quality weed in Nukus so do not know the prices, but should be lower. Rasta brothers and sisters need your help! Just arrived to Nukus and plan to relax daily so please share contacts of trusted dealer with top weed, do not care about the price, top quality is 1 requirement. Have cash, crypto, skrill, paypal etc. Sorry bro my dealer disappeared 3 days ago and does not respond so also waiting for someone to share contacts of trusted druid, with delivery option if possible. Ha ha guys, thanks so much, everything went through successfully! I got everything delivered during 40 minutes to the area of my hotel, got photo and description where to grab, just went around my hotel and took empty cola can with weed inside from place on the photo - was easy as 1 2 3. I ordered 5g of Pineapple sativa strain, below attaching photos of this perfection. Congrats bro! I also found another way to get cool weed just in case - my friend share a link to weed auto-sale bot in Telegram. You are offered several strains and positions that are already hidden usually in city center , so you just select what you want, pay in crypto and get GPS coordinates and photo of place where to take your stuff. Also after payment bot gives you a unique URL to auto-delete chat with support guy who resolves issues that may happen. I found everything quickly so had no need to contact support, not sure how it works, but these guys look serious. Also made some photos, stuff is top one, pricing is almost the same as Bob Marley has, rather fair as for me. Photo below. Thanks for info! I pinged Bob Marley but he was not responsive as guys warned, so also used a bot - fuck, this is really something new in dealing drugs I should say. Please sign in to join the discussion. I've been visiting since the mids as a Lonely Planet writer for the region and have dealt with pretty much every travel challenge you can imagine. Time your trip to coincide with the best weather. Land-locked Uzbekistan has an extreme continental climate, which means cold winters and hot, dry summers. Getting a visa for Uzbekistan is easy these days. Other countries including the USA and India are required to apply for an e-visa online , but this is an easy process that only takes a couple of days. Gone are the days of complicated visa invitations and trips to obscure embassies — hurray! It takes just over two hours to travel from Tashkent to Samarkand, and the same again to reach Bukhara from Samarkand. For longer distances, Russian-style sleeper trains are an atmospheric way to travel overnight between Tashkent and the remoter cities of Nukus, Khiva or Termiz. However, seats do sell out on popular routes, especially for high-speed tourist services, so book tickets a week or more in advance. Try online via the Uzbekistan Railway e-ticket portal , use the Uzrailway phone app, or book through a local travel agency for a markup. The best ones fill up quickly in late spring and summer, so be sure to book a few weeks in advance. Contact owners directly, or see what comes up on Booking. If you'd prefer to take a taxi, be aware that overcharging by taxi drivers is not uncommon in Uzbekistan — always try to get a rough idea of the correct fare beforehand. English is not widely spoken in Uzbekistan outside of tourist hotels, so it helps to learn some words of Uzbek a Turkic language similar to old Turkish , or Russian, which remains a lingua franca amongst older people right across the former Soviet Union. Knowing numbers in Uzbek or Russian will come in particularly handy when negotiating with shared taxi drivers. Google Translate can help, but only if you have smartphone data — to minimize roaming costs, tourist SIM cards valid for a month are available from several local companies, notably Beeline and Ucell. Uzbekistan is very tourist-friendly these days, but there are a few things travelers should know about. When entering the country, you cannot bring in any codeine-based medications such as painkillers and you may need to declare how much foreign cash you are carrying. In reality, you are unlikely to be quizzed at customs if you arrive by air in Tashkent, but you might be when entering via land crossings. In the past you had to show these for every night of your trip when leaving the country; these days, the old paper system has been superseded by an online system and slips are rarely checked, but you should still keep these when given them, just in case. Be sure to carry your passport or at the very least a photocopy with you when you go sightseeing in Uzbekistan. Keep a photocopy to hand to avoid having to dig through your belongings in public. Changing money is relatively straightforward in Uzbekistan these days. Credit and debit cards especially Visa are accepted by most accommodation and upmarket souvenir stalls. ATMs in major cities accept foreign cards, but stock up on Uzbek som the local currency if you are headed into the countryside. Look like an expert in the local chaikhana teahouse by pouring the first two bowls of tea back into the pot before drinking, to help it brew. Choose from Russian-style kara black or Asian-style kok green chai. Uzbeks are big hand-shakers, so be sure to shake the hands of any men you come into contact with, especially elders known as aksakal in Central Asia. Another particularly graceful gesture used by Uzbeks and Tajiks is to place your hand on your heart when meeting someone. When meeting women, a slight bow is the norm, in place of a handshake. At the end of a meal, Uzbeks and Tajiks generally place their hands in front of their face in a cupped prayer gesture and run them lightly over their face to give thanks for the meal. Following suit will earn you respect for understanding and following Uzbek customs. Haggling over things like the price of taxis and buying produce at markets is common in Uzbekistan, but prices are not vastly overinflated, so only expect a modest discount. Aggressive haggling is not appreciated — keep things light-hearted and friendly. You may also be able to bargain for a discount on accommodation prices outside the high season. Food in Uzbekistan is quite meat-heavy, focused on the four staples of shashlik lamb kebabs , plov pilau rice , shurpa stew and laghman noodles — all sometimes featuring more fat than visitors may be used to. Uzbekistan is generally a very safe country for tourists. Despite sharing a border with Afghanistan, there is little religious extremism and crime against foreigners is rare. As in big cities anywhere, watch out for pickpockets on crowded city buses and bazaars in hubs such as Tashkent; tourist police frequent the more popular tourist sights. Uzbekistan is a Muslim country, but people are very relaxed. Short skirts, tank tops and yoga pants are best avoided, and you may want to cover your arms and legs when visiting the conservative Fergana Valley. Bring a headscarf to cover your hair when entering active mosques. The most common complaints amongst visitors are heat exhaustion in summer and the occasional dodgy tummy after eating too much oily plov or shashlik. Wash your hands, avoid the tap water and wash all fruit and salads before eating and you should be fine. A couple of bonus tips: be sure to return to the exteriors of the main architectural sights in Samarkand at night, as most are spectacularly lit up. Also, when planning your itinerary, avoid visiting Tashkent on a Monday, when most of the museums are closed.
