Nude Teen Athletes

35 Shots of Beach, Water, and the Natural Nudity of Young Athletes

Ewoud Broeksma's photos capture athletes at their peak condition and in a natural, unself-conscious state. Read more below.

Athletes can be driven and goal-oriented. Sometimes their bodies are pushed to extreme limits. The athlete can regard his body as a tool rather than the aesthetic scuplture we might see. Renowned Netherlands photo artist Ewoud Broeksma tried to evoke the feeling in these images of men unaware of their own beauty.
Placing the athletes outdoors, in the water, in natural settings brought out natural grace in both form and behavior.
Ewoud Broeksma, like Eadweard Muybridge , has devoted much of his career to examining the physiques of sportsmen, recording them, and celebrating the poetry of an athlete in motion. Because of his dedication and the quality of his work, sports personalities from all over the world have posed for Broeksma.
You can discover more of Ewoud's work and see the prints and images he has for sale on his new website . The site includes an array of athletes in "pure" (nude) form. You can also find Ewoud on Facebook .
Ewoud works with Mooi-Man gallery in the Netherlands. It offers some of Ewoud's work as well as the popular calendar Your Daily Male 2019 with 365 works of male art, available later this year.

Sexy sportsmen and women at Cambridge University have bared their bums and breasts in a naked calendar to raise money for charity.
Students in the university's sports teams, including swimming, hockey and football, have posed naked for photos around the historical city of Cambridge.
The pictures show undergraduates playing polo in the buff and doing naked handstands in the meadows.
The swimming team from the University of Cambridge stay out of the water for once as they relax on one of the city's famous punts
These female gymnasts show off their flexibility and lack of modesty in the Botanic Gardens. You can only hope that it was warm inside the greenhouse
The male hockey team do their bit for charity, using hockey sticks and trophies to preserve their dignity. According to the organisers of the calendar the boys were happy to strip off and she had to ask them to put their clothes back on
Tennis rackets, boxing gloves and fencing helmets have been strategically placed to preserve the students' modesty.
Fourth year student Rowenna McGill, 21, who organised the calendar with fellow fourth year Caitlin Whitby, 21 said: 'We wanted to do something different to raise money for RAG and this combines the amazing Cambridge architecture with the people of Cambridge.

The Cambridge University boxing team does their bit for charity. Some of the men starved themselves for 24 hours to get better bodies for the photos
The horse this polo player is riding is seemingly unconcerned about its naked rider. The calendar features members of sports teams posing in the buff around Cambridge
'It was a lot of fun to do. Getting a lot of naked people together in one place was always going to be hilarious.
'All the boys seemed happy to just strip off and I found myself asking them to put their clothes back on. Some of the lads even starved themselves for 24 hours to get better bodies for the photos.
'I have a lot of respect for the girls who took part, they took it all in their stride and I think they look amazing.'
Some male gymnasts show off what they're got. It took one and a half years to put the calendar together
The American football team at the University of Cambridge aren't fazed by something as trivial as nudity - they've got tackling to do!
The pictures feature a variety of Cambridge University sports teams including girls and boys gymnastic teams, mixed swimming, boys hockey, girls and boys tennis. American football, girls football and boxing.
The photos were shot around Cambridge at locations such as the Botanic Gardens, Fitzwilliam Museum and the historic Union Chamber.
The athletics team show just how athletic they are underneath their clothes. The calendar has been created to raise money for charities which support people with dementia and to donate to refugees
Rowenna, a geology student from Homerton, added: 'It took about one-and-a-half years to put the calendar together so it has been hard work.
'We tried to make sure we closed the colleges when we were taking the photos to avoid people walking in on a lot of naked people.'
The calendar costs £10 from www.cambridgebluescalendar.com and money raised will go to the Lewy Body Society and Help Refugees.
This stripping off business is getting boring now....

No body issues here! Eight powerful women athletes posed naked for ESPN’s 2019 Body Issue , and the images are stunning. Proclaiming “every body has a story,” the final print edition of ESPN drops tomorrow, featuring 21 athletes in total. The women represented include a soccer player, an MMA fighter, a paralympian, a gymnast, a CrossFit champion, a basketball player, a retired point guard and a surfer, and they all remind us of the power of the human body — and spirit.
The images themselves aren’t the only beautiful result of the photo shoot. As gymnast Katelyn Ohashi put it, “I have gone through eating disorders and body shaming, and here I am today doing this shoot for millions of people to see.” Similarly, Katrin Davidsdottir, a two-time CrossFit Games champion, told ESPN that she is “so proud of every single muscle” in her body. Shooting in the nude for a major magazine is one way to break down one’s insecurities, and all eight women exude pride and confidence in the photographs. There is nothing more powerful than a woman who knows her worth, knows her value, and isn’t afraid to be herself. Scroll through the slideshow to see the incredible athletes pose with nothing between them and the camera.
“Everything that I wanted to do, I did it,” mixed martial artist Nunes told ESPN. “Now I enjoy this moment because I work hard for these moments. Now I really can look in the mirror and say, ‘We did it. I did it.’”
“Nothing in the world is going to bring me back my leg, so I just had to accept that,” Bassett told ESPN. “I don’t need to hide it or to be embarrassed about it.” The paralympian lost her leg in a chemical fire when she was an infant.
“I want to see moms, housewives, athletes go, ‘Oh my gosh, I can’t believe she looks like that. She’s 60. I can do that too,'” the retired point guard and former WNBA and NBA coach said. “It’s important to take care of yourself.”
“Normal is boring, and it’s about time we start doing things differently for the outliers,” the WNBA scoring leader said.
“Riding a wave is this emotionless, beautiful thing that you just feel so present,” the pro surfer said. “You stand up, and anything that you’re worried about or stressed about, it just goes away.”
“From the outside, playing in the World Cup looks awesome. Nobody realizes how hard it really is,” the two-time World Cup champion said. “Like, it’s not fun. The nerves and the weight of expectation are not enjoyable. But if something’s easy, it’s not worth doing.”
“I’m so proud of every single muscle of my body,” said Davidsdottir, a two-time CrossFit Games champion. “I had to work for it. I had to earn that. They don’t just show up.”
“I feel really accepting of the things I used to be insecure about,” Ohashi, a gymnast, said. “I have gone through eating disorders and body shaming, and here I am today doing this shoot for millions of people to see.”Katelyn Ohashi

After all their blood, sweat and tears in the gym, who could blame some of Poland’s hottest sports stars for wanting to strip off to show the fabulous results of all that hard work?
Some of the country’s hottest stars have gone as nature intended to reveal their chiselled physiques for a new charity photo project.
The stunning photos show the stars performing their sports, only this time in their birthday suits.
Oaresome: Rowing champ Ania Wierzbowska poses naked in a wooden rowing hut, surrounded by oars, glancing coyly over her shoulder
Graceful: Dark haired 400m sprinter Edyta Litwiniuk let the wind through her hair, stripping off to run barefoot along a road beside a lake
In one, toned rowing champion Anna Wierzbowska shows off her figure as she coyly glances over her shoulder while sitting naked on the floor of a rowing hut surrounded by oars.
The 24-year-old is the 500 and 1,000 metre indoor world record holder, she came sixth at this year's World Rowing Championships in Aiguebelette, France, and has won nine national championships.
One picture shows muscle-bound 'yoga junkie' Marta Witecka, 29, who graduated in law at the The University of Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education and former actor Juri Kussmaul, 29, sitting on grass doing Acroyoga, a combination of acrobatics and yoga.
But the nudity isn't all about novelty value, photographer Dominika Cuda told MailOnline.
She said: ‘Sports and being an athlete forms the way our bodies look. What we look like and how our bodies appear says more about us than we know - it's a road map of your experiences.
'It describes our lives, our passion and the journey we're on.'
In the ' One Year Fund ' photo project, Poland’s finest athletes posed to raise money for the country’s sports stars of tomorrow.
Dominika continued: 'The money we raise buys clothes, shoes and other sports equipment for Polish athletes under 18.
Flexible: Self-professed 'yoga junkie' Marta Witecka and Juri Kussmaul, both 29, practise Acroyoga, a combination of acrobatics and yoga
Don't look down: Acroyoga fanatics Marta Witecka and Juri Kussmaul pose together on a patch of grass for the One Year Fund diary

'By doing this, we're hoping to set off some of the expenses, motivate these young athletes to work hard and keep them on the right path to becoming successful.'
'To be an athlete you not only have to give up your social life, but you also have to be able and willing to spend some money.
'Every athlete needs to be able to afford new equipment to practise with, they need enough to follow an appropriate diet, and enough to buy athletic gear - a new warm jacket to run in or new shoes to pound the pavement with.
Inner strength: Kasia Bigos, who does pole dance and functional training, holds a gruelling pose for the calendar to raise money ing careers
Fitness: Katarzyna Dziurska, who does bikini fitness, poses on the beach of a small creek. All the men and women featured in the diary are athletes, and many of them represent Poland in World Championships in a variety of sports
Back to nature: Runner Katarzyna Wolska limbers up during the photo shoot. Photographer Dominika Cuda launched the project for young athletes to 'focus on the sport and their love of it, not on whether they have enough money to make it work'
Natural: Rower Ania Wierzbowska, 24, clutches an oar for a glamorous photo shoot against a backdrop of clear skies for this year's diary
'Normally these basic costs are carried by parents, especially in the early years. But these young athletes should be able to focus on the sport and their love of it, not on worrying whether they have enough money to make it work.
'This is where the idea came from - to be able to help the athletic youth of Poland and reward their dedication to their respective sports - that's how the Sports Calendar was born.'
Leap of faith: Olga Chmielewska, who does Shotokan Karate, shows off her phenomenally toned muscles as she leaps off a digger
Glowing: Marek Gunia takes part in the Japanese martial art Kobudo. Here he sits on a bar stool with a dark backdrop lit with luminous red
Lunge: Pilates expert Gosia Prochownik shows off her flexible limbs for the One Year Fund diary, a 300-page collection of Polish athletes
Alongside the photos are daily training schedules and tables to record goals, achievements and results.
