The Easy Expression Bustier retains its shape, even after multiple spins in the washing machine – its gentle nylon and spandex blend is machine-washable and designed for use with all Medela double electric breast pumps. Reinforced openings provide exceptional no-slip support and an integrated top hook has been added to the design for even easier zipping and adaptability to your body.

The Medela Easy Expression Bustier is available in neutral black or nude shades and is made from 85% nylon and 15% spandex for a comfortable fit that is as gentle against your skin as it is supportive, allowing moms more freedom while double pumping.

4 simple steps to using a hands-free pumping bra

The Medela Easy Expression Bustier holds the two breast shields of your double breast pump gently in place while you express, and is easy to wear and use – just follow these instructions:

Step 1:Put the Medela Easy Expression Bustier on and fasten the hook at the top – this is designed to make it easier to zip up from the bottom.

Step 2:Zip up the bustier.

Step 3:Insert a breast shield on each breast under the bustier. The bustier material is very stretchy, allowing space for you to do this, but you can also unfasten the zip temporarily if this helps. Your nipple should be centred in the breast shield tunnel, which fits through the hole in each side.

Step 4:Attach a connector to each breast shield, and you’re ready to pump hands-free.

I use the Medela double pump and was SO tired of having both my hands occupied for 20 mins at a time - not being able to drink water (which is so important because it helped me produce more milk while pumping) not being able to scratch an itch on my arm, or move a hair off my face.. I looked into hands free cups, but didn’t want to spend $50+ so I was excited when I remembered these bras. After reading the other reviews I wasn’t really sure what size to get - according to the chart I’m a size Med but I sized up and ordered the Large and it fits perfect. The material is very sturdy and comfortable!
* It’s extremely disappointing that the very 1st review that shows up and is rated the “most helpful” is by someone who doesn’t know how to put this bra on! HERE IS HOW YOU PUT IT ON: It’s a little tricky, but while the bra is on and halfway zipped up, you place the flanges on your breasts, then the flange tunnel goes thru the slit openings. Then after zipping it up all the way, attach the remainder of the assembled bottle onto the tunnel, and then attach the tubing. Voila, done! This gets easier & faster to do after a couple times and is not as difficult as it sounds. Trust me, if you’re looking to be hands free while pumping you NEED this bra!

I saw this one and assumed I'd love it even more because it looks a bit more sturdy. Well, it is more sturdy but the sizing is off. This only goes up to size L but according to the sizing chart it should fit me. I assumed it was a slightly different bra so maybe that's why the sizing was different.

Well this L does NOT fit so well. It's ok, I can get away with it as pumping is only for a short time and I'm not wearing it out as a real bra or anything. But it is very snug and it would not fit anyone bigger than me even though the sizing chart shows it will.

Don't buy this if you're larger than a d cup or wider than 38 in.

This pumping bra is durable and easy enough to stretch and zip close. My major complaint is that the flange holes are small by design so you have to take the flange off your pump assembly, place on your nipple, then zip up the bra and attach the rest of the pump parts. This isn’t a big deal when it’s the first pump of the day and all my parts are dry and clean, but I pump 4 times a day at work and place my pump parts in the fridge between uses. By the end of the day they are pretty cold and milky which makes disassembling the flange in order to get this bra on both annoying and messy. The flange holes do keep your pump parts in place if you need to move around while pumping, but since I am sitting in the lactation room at work I prefer other designs that stretch so I don’t need to remove the flange in order to use the pump bra.

I was conflicted what to feel about this pumping bra. It was a huge difference to be able to pump handfree and the material was high quality. On the other hand, the lack of straps was a bummer, the thick material made breast massage/compression difficult, the zipper was trouble some and I had to put on the flanges separately instead of slipping the fully assembled bottle/pump parts trough it. The elastic band also pressed on breast tissue regularly, so I had to readjust and couldn't move much.

That said, it was so much easier and holding the pump parts in my hands, but I decided to buy a different brand off Amazon to compare. After doing that, hell no, I am returning this one. The comfort between the two is night and day, both comfort for wearing it and ease of putting on the bra/pump.
