Sofia Vergara recently turned 45 on July 10th and she’s proudly flaunting her birthday suit.
The “Modern Family” star posed completely nude for Women’s Health’s Naked 2017 issue. And the highest-paid television star in the world claimed flaunting her curves was a breeze.
“I’ve always been very comfortable with my body,” the actress told the magazine . “You know, I’m Latin so we grow up going to the beach in a G-string. I used to do work for the Latin market in my 20s. Like I would do calendar shoots, very sexy and everything. And you know things have changed… how much you take care of yourself is a reality. We all age and you have to embrace it.”
However, Vergara admitted she was a bit nervous about the upcoming photo shoot. Right before, Vergara was filming “Bent” in Rome and “ate like an animal.” She wasn’t exercising and then two days before the shoot, she came home with pneumonia. Looking over at photos of potential poses sent by the creative team also didn’t help.
“They’re all of tall models holding their boobs with one arm,” she said. “But I can barely cover my boobs with two arms — I’m a 32-triple-D! My boobs are real, and I had a baby. If I grab them, I can’t even cover the nipple!”
These days, Vergara is attempting to have a regular fitness routine, but even she gets tempted to stay in bed.
“Like I find any excuse not to do it,” she said. “[I’m] Taking a couple of yoga classes. I’m very bad at it. I don’t have much patience. So I’m always trying to find something that I can do."
She also added, "I don't know if I'm strong. I have bad knees and very thin bones; I can barely do a pushup. I wish I could be a little more athletic, but when you're born with these gigantic boobs... I've had them since I was 13 and they've gotten bigger when I was pregnant and had the baby."
And even though her husband, "Magic Mike" actor Joe Manganiello, is a lifelong athlete, she still can't seem to enjoy any workout sessions, either alone or with her beau.
"It's like torture for me," she explained. "I'm in a bad mood two hours before, I'm in a bad mood while I'm doing it, I'm in a bad mood at the end because I have to schedule the next class."
Vergara did say it’s gotten easier for women like her to proudly embrace their shape in front of cameras.
“It’s not just the Barbie doll on the cover,” she said. “It’s real women. So it’s getting better. I think before it was a little bit more strict to how women were supposed to look... It's not about having muscle or cut abs. I don't have abs because I'm not 'I need to be a fit model with the perfect body.' That would take too much effort!"
The September 2017 issue of Women’s Health hits newsstands August 8.

CLEVELAND -- A television news anchor appeared on the air nude in a first-person report about an artist's photographs, drawing a record number of viewers for the time slot, the station said.
Sharon Reed was one of hundreds of people who participated in Spencer Tunick 's nude photo installation in Cleveland in June. Her report, which aired Monday on the 11 p.m. newscast on WOIO-TV, showed far away angles of her nude and some closer seminude shots, as well as other participants.
The station said Wednesday that the story on its Web site attracted nearly 1 million visitors. WOIO news director Steve Doerr said the story was aimed at bringing in ratings during November sweeps when audiences are measured to set advertising rates.
The report comes in the midst of increased attention to the airwaves, following Janet Jackson 's breast-baring performance during the Super Bowl halftime show. The Federal Communications Commission proposed a record fine of $550,000 against CBS, WOIO's parent network. The network is protesting.
On Tuesday, ABC apologized for the intro to "Monday Night Football" that featured a supposedly naked actress jumping into a player's arms in a spoof of the television show "Desperate Housewives."
Doerr said the idea was to cover Tunick, a well-known artist, in a different way, and he said the response has been generally positive. Reed said she was praised for "standing up" for what she believed, but also was ridiculed for jeopardizing TV news standards.
Monday night's newscast received a record 17.1 share, compared with the 13.6 earned during the newscast airing immediately after this year's Super Bowl, according to Broadcasting & Cable, an industry publication.
The station aired advisories before the piece, and FCC spokeswoman Janice Wise on Wednesday said WOIO followed commission rules that prohibit indecent material from being aired on broadcast television from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Lea Michele is proud to say her "body's banging."
The Scream Queens star poses nude for Women's Health UK and shares her secret to being confident in her own skin. "Right now, I feel physically in my best shape and emotionally in my best place," Michele, whose Finn tattoo is in plain view, reveals to the magazine. "I’m not perfect. I’m not trying to represent myself as being some perfect girl, but I love myself, flaws and all.”
The 29-year-old actress adds that getting naked "isn't really an issue" for her.
She also discloses how her workouts have changed since Fox's musical show, Glee , wrapped. "When I left Glee , I needed something to replace all the dancing about I was doing," she explains. "I’m not the kind of person who would go to the gym. For me, working out has to be good for my mind too, and when I leave [spinning class SoulCycle], the endorphins are buzzing, I’m glowing and I feel like I can take on the world.”
Michele took to social media late Sunday to share the images from her bare-all cover shoot. “So honored to follow in the great @chrissyteigen 's footsteps and grace this years cover of @ukwomenshealth Naked Issue,” she wrote. “I'm so proud of this cover and I'm so happy I can finally share it with you all!”
Last summer, Michele and her Scream Queens co-star got really into Pilates . "Only Emma Roberts could make working out this hard so much fun!" she told ET. "Love you lady! So happy we are here on this adventure together!"
