Candy Farm Campsite, on the outskirts of Doncaster, was first set up in 2000 by Colin Wood and his family
For Colin Wood and his family naturism has been part of their life for decades.
Nestled in farmland on the outskirts of Doncaster you will find Candy Farm Campsite - a place where naturists are welcome all year round.
Colin, wife Carol and daughter Angie founded the site back in 2000 just outside the village of Blaxton at their family farm.
It's a place where judgement is left at the door and people can sunbathe, walk around and go for quiet country walks completely naked.
The site holds space for five caravans and 10 tents and has shower and toilet facilities as well as views of the surrounding countryside.
In the words of Colin, it is a "simple site which attracts a wonderful community of people."
But the family say people often misunderstand about what naturism is and have common misconceptions about what it is all about.
They agreed to chat to Yorkshire Live to give an insight into their lifestyle.
For the Wood family, naturism has been a part of life for decades.
In fact, it started back in 1982 when the family took a holiday to Scarborough.
Angie was just two when the family ventured to their first naturist beach during a heatwave.
Colin explained: "We were on holiday in Scarborough and there was a day when it was just too hot to wear clothes.

"We thought that we would go and have a look at the local naturist beach, and see what it was like.
"We said that we wouldn't take our clothes off unless we felt completely comfortable.
"It was great people were welcoming and friendly and everyone was looking out for each other."
Once they got home Colin and Carol started to look around for other naturist groups and clubs that they could get involved in.
They decided to go along to their local naturist swimming club.
Colin said: "Going there you get to meet similar people and hear about what other naturist clubs are all about.
"We also got to go for weekends away as a club and experience what it was all about."
The family were involved with naturists clubs for decades before the idea came about to open their own naturist campsite.
After a weekend with friends at the farm and a boules competition the idea was born.
Colin said: "When the idea came about I started to look around and see how we could make it work on the farm.
"And when we got up and running we had around 50 people coming to visit us, just through friends and word of mouth.
"It's a simple site but we find that it attracts the people that we want - we're not interested in people who are obsessed with their flashy vans."
In 2005 the campsite became part of the Camping and Caravanning Club and now features on their website so people know where to find them.
Colin's daughter, Angie Cox, said: "Most people enjoy it so much that they come back.
"We often see people coming back multiple times a year and we get to know the same faces.
"Some people take their clothes off straight away when they get here - while others take a little longer.
"There's no pressure at all - some people have come not realising that it is a naturist site and then joined in anyway."
Colin added: "Some people arrive and when they realise they turn around straight away.
"But we try and put out more obvious signs if we get a feeling that they don't know.
"We have some who ring up and ask us what the rules are as they are not sure about coming.
"The same social rules apply here as anywhere else - if you wouldn't do it in your clothes you shouldn't be doing it without your clothes."
On a typical day on the campsite, Colin says that you can often find him enjoying a cup of tea with each of the guests as he makes his round collecting the money.
Angie said: "It has become a bit of a running joke that you have to include my dad's tea and coffee in the price of your stay as he always makes sure that he gets one."
But the family did say that they do struggle with people just not understanding what naturism is.
They say often they have to battle misconceptions that the local community have.
Colin said: "A lot of people can't separate the naked body from sex.
"A few people brought it up in the local pub the other night and said that people are coming up here and swapping partners.
"I said to them, look, I'm not saying that it doesn't happen but not as much as what it does in this pub.
"Another thing people don't seem to understand is that we're not naked all of the time.
"We live on a working farm so sometimes it just doesn't make sense, or its not safe, not to be wearing any clothes.
"And then there's the weather - if it's too cold it doesn't make sense to be naked."
For Angie, she has always grown up around going to naturist clubs with her family.
She said that it was great for her growing up as she got to meet so many friends.
"Every time I went to different clubs I made friends, everyone was so friendly and welcoming.
"It was completely different to school."
Candy Farm Campsite is also famed for hosting Nudestock every year.
The annual event usually held at the end of May with dancing, bands, food, games, karaoke, body painting and challenges for all ages.
Angie even had a humanist blessing at Nudestock one year.
Colin said: "I think what I like about naturism is the fantastic community that you belong to.
"Everyone is so friendly, welcoming and they really look out for each other.
"We have a small simple site but it attracts a wonderful group of people."
