The Channel 4 show follows three people with body confidence issues
NAKED Beach viewers were left shocked last night at the amount of pre-watershed nudity on display.
The Channel 4 show, which follows three people with body confidence issues, aired at 8pm last night.
It meant that some unsuspected channel-hoppers were stunned to find near-full nudity on their screens.
The show featured the participants heading to a retreat in Greece where they took part in activities with proud nudists.
It was intended to help the fully-clothed guests feel relaxed enough to strip off and embrace their bodies.
All-the-while, the hosts were completely in the nude apart from wearing body paint and skimpy thongs to cover their modesty.
As the show progressed, the participants started becoming more comfortable - eventually feeling able to fully undress in front of a mirror.
And by the end, all of three were filmed completely nude - and without any cover-ups.
This sparked fury among some watching at home - with many taking to Twitter to vent their rage.
One viewer said: “Why have I just turned on my TV and seeing a naked penis before 9pm?!”
Another tweeted: “Willies before the watershed. My 9 year old loved that!”
A third agreed: “I don't know if I was prepared for all these naked bodies on my TV screen before 9pm, don't know if I can take another 3.”
But others loved the show, with many asking what people were expecting.
One fan tweeted: “What were people expecting when they turn on #NakedBeach?
"Yes you saw a penis before the watershed. But it's not in a sexual way! Half the population have them!”

Trying on some new clothes in the Ocean Palm Motel. The Ocean Palm is the only motel within easy walking distance of Haulover nude beach, in north Miami-Dade County, FL.
This is a shot of a life changing experience. She had gone topless at Apollo before but this was taken just a few minutes after she findly took off the bottoms. After this she was hooked and can't stand when she has to wear a swimsuit. She wondered why she didn't do it sooner.
This is Small Banana Beach, a popular nude beach on the Greek island of Skiathos. This beautiful and secluded beach is located right next to the neighboring Big Banana Beach. The two beaches are seperated by a small rocky outcrop.
Naturism is still really popular in Greece and most of Europe, so beaches like this are common. Only a few beaches are designated "nude" beaches, but topless is legal everywhere. That's why there were a few topless women on the neighboring Big Banana Beach, and the nearby Koukounaries Beach.
I was actualy looking at pictures of this beach, and everyone had clothes on, so i wasn't expecting to see any nudists, but almost everyone on the beach was naked. Mostly older people, but a few young people as well. But most of the young people were on the neighboring Big Beach.
I felt a little awkward with clothes on, so I stripped down as well and went skinny dipping.
It was very hard to find an empty spot. There were people everywhere!
These two beaches are twins to Big and Little Makena Beach on Maui.
This was a rock and stick hut my father built for us to live in for weeks while we stayed at a nude beach in Myknonos, Greece.
I'm the skinny, taller one. Man, didn't my parents feed me? And my sister is in the foreground.

SEMEIZ (various spellings!) has been a nudist/naturalist colony since the late 19th Century. Chekhov summered here (he was bisexual and nudist, according to Russians & Ukrainians I met), and it has been a popular vacation spot for closeted gays in the Soviet Union from the 1960s on. This idyllic seaside village is a 26-hour train ride from Moscow and 10 hours from Kiev (but its only 2 hours taxi from the SIMFEROPOL Intl Airport: CRIMEA, UKRAINE.)
The sea is amazingly warm and clean (varied seaweeds & fish) at this "wild beach," and its a mixed crowd of cosmopolitan Slavs swimming and sunbathing on these rocks in August. Here, it's CLOTHING-OPTIONAL (nude by choice), obviously.
As you can see from the other photos in the set, its a PERILOUS CLIMB down to this area : you should wear sturdy water shoes!!!!

The Naramata Bench vineyards looking over Okanagan Lake's Three Mile Point as it was know by the ship captains of the late 1800's to the mid 1970's. Locally the point is more commonly known as Three Mile Beach and is three miles north of the City of Penticton by water, hence it's name. In the summer and growing up on the Naramata Road us kids would get on our bikes and pedal down to Three Mile for a swim. At that time both sides of the point were “kid friendly” and over the years the other side became more “adults only”. On the left or west side is Trout Creek which is part of the City of Summerland and what looks like a small pole sticking out of the water at the very tip is a navigation light put there in the early 1900's and still works today. Straight up the lake is the Town of Peachland and there the lake makes a huge “S” and continues for a 100 kilometres or so.

For an all-over tan, this is also nicknamed the ‘Nude Beach’ and can be a spot that attracts both straight and gay couples due to it being so secluded. Although this is illegal in Malta, this is an unrestricted place, filled with tranquility. There are two options to reach the beach: public buses run to Għajn Tuffieħa, from which you can hike through rocky terrain, or alternatively catch the bus to Gnejna Beach and follow the narrow path from the car park. Either way, the walk will take around 20 minutes.
