I understand being more comfortable nude isn't exactly that uncommon among us but I'm just wondering how common it is?
I find most clothing to be uncomfortable so when possible I prefer to be nude. I don't have clothing constricting or rubbing against me and I like how the air feels against my skin.
I just don’t like people seeing me naked outside of a sexual context so I only get to go nude when alone and have privacy.
I’m just wondering how many other autistic people are they same? Am I just odd or is it mostly just an autistic thing?
I personally don't understand why people get offended by nudity. It's just a body. There are billions of them in the world and we've all got one?!

I’m actually the opposite. I hate being nude and feeling the air all over me. It feels like I’m going to float out of my body if I don’t have clothes on. This is also the main reason I rarely wear shorts or skirts.
Years ago me and my wife were on a holiday trip, outside off the main season so no crowds on the campinsites etc. We visited a camping with a nude beach and decided to try it out. Never before then I realised how much I like being naked.
To be fair at the end of our stay more and more people arrived and with that it got more crowded at the nude beach and it greatly reduced my comfort there.
Ever since we've been going to saunas aswell but the same applies here. Some people ok, but the bigger saunas with a lot of people make me uneasy.
Sounds to me like nudity wasn't the problem... I hope you'll get more great experiences with being nude.

So, yes. It's not that I find clothes to be uncomfortable, I actually quite like them if they're loose-fitting. I'm just comfortable nude as well, so whether I prefer nudity or clothes depends more on the temperature than anything else. I also always prefer to sleep nude. I've never been that bothered by nudity in general, to the point that I didn't see a problem with being nude even when it can bother others; for example when there were visitors or people seeing me through the window. I was even the only one who wasn't bothered by communal showering after PE in middle school, and this was at a special education school geared towards people with autism. Nowadays I am more careful with being nude, as I now know most people consider it to be offensive, but I still think the taboo we have on nudity is rather ridiculous.
Same! I also like hanging out being nude in a non-sexual way with friends (naturists, nudists, people who can do it in a not creepy way)
I’ve often thought about it but I don't think I'd ever be able to bring myself to do it. My parents didn't believe in nudity and I was raised to stay covered. I’m fine alone but even now I just kinda feel wrong and embarrassed if people catch me.
Pants are evil. Other than that... I mean, I dont perticularly care, but If I dont have to I tend to not wear clothes
I can comfortably be nude at home, but I spend most time in tunics and nightshirts, which is very close to being nude (feeling-wise)

I take every opportunity I have to be nude. Mostly it's just sleeping since I live with not just my partner but also a roommate but if the roommate's out I don't waste any time getting the evil clothes off of me.
