Hello! I want to make my Sims 3 Game run faster and I downloaded the Overwatch pack. How do I make sure this will operate in my game?

Overwatch is a script mod and is handled just like other mods. Specifically, you need to set up the mods framework in your TS3 game folder (in Documents), place Overwatch in Mods\Packages, and then delete the scriptCache.package from the game folder. The offered download includes two simple mods (NoIntro and NoBuildSparkles) so that you can confirm mods are working in your game. Or if you prefer, you can manually create the mods setup yourself and just add the resource.cfg file. Either way, you'll know that Overwatch has loaded into your save game when you click on City Hall and see "NRaas..." as one of the options in the pie menu.
Once installed, Overwatch will take care of business itself; you don't have to do anything. You can play with the settings if you like, but OW will do its normal cleanup without any prompting from the player.
If you're looking to clean up your game, you might want to install NRaas ErrorTrap too, and perhaps Register and Traffic . (And Traveler , if your sims travel and you'd prefer that your game not break during the transition.) Each of these mods helps in its own way, and they were built to work together. Thank you so much @puzzlezaddict This will be a major help after I experienced a fatal error in University. My Sims came home from Graduation and...the game just stopped working. I couldn't shift to the other family members anymore.

the overwatch and error tap actually saved me from stress of playing the game! My game started lagging to the point where it's no longer playable and it's stressing me so much!!! but after installing it, the games seems to be playable now. We'll see how it goes.

This thread is a life saver. I have a ton of content in my sims game and because of it my game has always been agonizingly laggy and freezes constantly. I've even experienced a few save-killing errors. I downloaded the mods suggested (use the modthesims link puzzlezaddict included above, this link is EXTREMELY helpful) and I'm already noticing a significant improvement in my game's performance. Best of all, the Traveler mod allows your sim to travel to ANY world in the game, so you can participate in all the dlc activities without having to permanently move your sim out of town. Thank you so much for the help!

@igazor Hi, I'm doing a brand new install of the game, all EPs and SPs (except KPST as unavailable) via Steam on a new computer. Having popped over to the new NRaas site to check out the mods list, I noticed Errortrap has its own version for Steam installs, but some other mods don't. Is it ok to use the other mods (e.g. Traveller, Register, Overwatch) without a Steam specific version?

Overwatch is a mod developed by NRaas Industries that attempts to correct known errors produced by the
game in The Sims 3. It runs in the background and. Obsessed with The Sims 3 and NRaas mods. Posts about

Overwatch installed, primarily to get rid of neighborhood pet adoption, but TS2 aging in AwesomeMod does not

with The Master Controller Mod,I have seen a video of The mod on YouTube,you can only stop freezing,and
lagging with this,but you have to merge with The Master Controller Mod otherwise other this work won't work

two mods work independently from each other. You easily can have one without the other. I'm not quite sure it

I play The Sims 3 rotationally Sims 2-style and these settings reflect that. If you have a different play style,
these settings may not be the best choice for you. You can set the prices to anything you want, but I like to sell
puppies for the most money, followed by adults, with elders being the least expensive. It has a lot of amazing
uses, but I only change a couple settings. To change settings, click on City Hall or an in-game computer. I use
Mover in conjunction with Master Controller to make sure my Sims retain their wishes, dreams, and
opportunities when switching between households. In the vanilla game or if this setting is not used , Sims drop
all their wishes when you move to another household. I learned that the hard way! I use Overwatch to clean up
various processes in the game and prevent lag. Also, I like to disable the horrible full-moon lighting and stop
pet adoptions. I use Register to manage the Service and Role Sims in town, restrict the number of stray
animals, and completely stop tourists and the paparazzi from spawning. I also adjust various pricing for services
including adoption, babysitter, maid, butler, and newspaper delivery. I use Retuner primarily to increase a little
my chance of twins and triplets, disable zombies and the University mascot, and to adjust prices for face
painting, books, groceries, and items available in the consignment store. I use Tagger to see what all my Sims
are up to in Map View and to check their sexual orientation, net worth, and other information at a glance. I use
Woohooer to manage risky woohoo, teen pregnancy, and autonomous behaviors for my Sims and animals.
Think of this as the Sims 3 version of ACR. I use Story Progression to play rotationally Sims 2-style. See this
tutorial on setting up castes for rotational gameplay. The following settings are general story progression
settings only and do not include castes. I find it annoying and unnecessary. But I will try to get them uploaded

Cindy! I was wondering if you would please make a tutorial video on how you play the Sims 3 in rotation like
you did for the Sims 2. My Sim has no luck with the maxis families and so I had to resort to dating townies, but

be accomplished with Sim Blender. You might try playing around with it in a test hood first. Can you take a
picture for me of this piece for me? I am playing Brandi Broke and her toddler will not read books. In my other
worlds they do but not in Pleasantville. Can you tell me how to fix this? I absolutely love everything you do and

the settings will only apply to the current save. If you want to use the same settings in other worlds, you can
export your settings and import them into other worlds using Overwatch. I just wanted to thank you for posting

what you use these other mods to do in game. I recently got a new computer with Windows 10 and decided to
