Studying the photosynthetic activity of sowing varieties of winter wheat of intensive type Almaly on irrigation made it possible to purposefully manage the production process of plants and obtain high, stable grain yields. The conducted researches allowed to conclude that in resource-saving technologies optimization of mineral nutrition of winter wheat, by means of introduction of rational doses of fertilizers, is one of the leading conditions of formation of high photosynthetic activity and productivity of crops. At the same time, a significant increase in the yields of winter wheat was provided mainly due to the increase in the total area of the leaf surface, capable of absorbing the radiant energy of the sun coming to this surface with high efficiency of HEADLIGHTS. Sofia Ferrum. The productivity and phytosanitary status of winter wheat was studied in the two-factorial long-term field experiment at the podzolic soil. The first factor was type of soil cultivation: ploughing or no-till drilling. The second factor was nitrogen topdressing: without nitrogen, uniform application or variable-rate application using NDVI value. Minor irrigation systems are very unique to Sri Lankan agriculture for centuries for its role in food security and livelihood. The objective of this study is to evaluate constrains and potentials of the system layout in a minor irrigation system for crop diversification during two major seasons and in-between seasons. Study was done in Bayawa minor irrigation system, Kurunagala in Sri Lanka on and period. Data were collected and analyzed to evaluate, system components and sustainability, canal uniformity, accessibility, land and farmer plots distribution and soil characteristics in the command area. The tank capacity and amount of irrigation water is good in this area for other field crops OFC cultivation. In system layout, irrigation canals uniformity is varies along the distance from head end to tail end and it requires a large amount of irrigation water for cultivation because of depth of water in the canals should be higher enough to supply irrigation water under gravity due to elevation difference between field and canals. Lack of systematic drainage canals is one of the major constraints for draining excess water for OFC cultivation particularly in high rainy seasons. The soil at tail and middle part of the command area is mainly clay, which makes it difficult for drainage compared to a portion of head section where sand is dominant. Therefore, the recommendation for OFC has to be restricted in the head end. Land size and their orientation restrict access to field irrigation and drainage. Canal system layout has to be considered in promotion of OFC for sustainable farming in minor irrigation systems. Viliana Vasileva. В Институте кормовых культур г. Плевен, Болгария изучено влияние органи-ческого гуминового удобрения хумустим на нитратредуктазную активность НР-активность и содержание пластидных пигментов у ярового кормового гороха сорта Плевен 4 и яровой вики сорта Образец Опыт выполнен в полевых ус-ловиях на выщелоченном черноземе. Проведены предпосевная обработка семян и опрыскивание растений во время вегетации. Установлено варьирование НР-активности в зависимости от вида растений, дозы и способа их обработки хуму-стимом. Предпосевная обработка семян кормового гороха и внекорневое опры-скивание растений во время вегетации хумустимом значительно повышали НР-активность в листьях и корнях растений. У ярового гороха установлено также увеличение содержания хлорофиллов а, b и каротиноидов. В осталь-ных вариантах НР-активность снижалась. The quantities of nutrients in the dark gray-brown, light gray-brown, graybrown, gray and meadow-gray soils of the Kur-Araz lowlands have been analyzed in this article. The differentiation of fertilizer norms for increasing the fertility of soils and obtaining high yields under cotton was proposed. In addition, it has been shown that the reasons of the decline of fertility elements in the soil, which is a useful soil for cotton in the Kur-Araz lowland. To each hectare of dark gray-brown soils nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizer, to each hectare of light brown and saline gray-brown soils kg phosphorus fertilizer, andto each hectare of irrigated graybrown soils, kg of nitrogen, kg phosphorus and kg of potassium fertilizer should be given.
