Notification Issue fix for back-up" apps
Hydra @Kineceleran on Telegram, thanks to @ajay_akkapelli for this guide.Do you know that after using Titanium/Migrate and similar apps many times notification will not come until you open the app? And then you will need to reinstall the app? Like WhatsApp, mail, discord and so on...
To fix this after flashing new ROM and restoring all apps, without opening any app go to terminal (Termux or similar)
And type:
1)su
2)cd /data/data
3)find . -type f -name '*gms*' -delete
4)reboot
This little script will auto delete a file that is linked to your old ROM, It is a token that will grant the ability to get notification.
Deleting this token will create a new one that will make working notification again for every app.
Please note that this trick will not fix app that is broken once backupped, this will only fix notification issue.
Tested in almost every app like Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Gmail, Outlook, etc.
Remember to make sure that app you need it is currently closed before launching the script.
