Nearly half of American voters are now expecting difficulties casting their ballot in November. Its findings come amid an unprecedented crisis with the Trump administration accused of curtailing United States Postal Service operations at a time when the necessity for voting by mail is soaring due to the pandemic.
Pew's data shows that 15% of U.S. voters considered it difficullt to cast their 2020 vote in October 2018 and that increased to 49% in August 2020. 35% of Republican registered voters are expecting difficulties compared to 60% of Democrats.
