A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
Confessions of a Time Traveler: The Man From 3036
What all these movies have in common is that they are available for viewing online free of charge. They might be part of the free movie catalog on a free movie site that also offers pay to stream films, such as Hulu. They might be available on an all free site such as Crackle or Snagfilms. Watching these free movies online does not require a subscription, a rental fee or a purchase of any kind. They're an easy answer to the question of how to watch movies for free online.
You won't need to sign up for anything in order to watch free movies online. You don't need to have a subscription or an account with these sites in order to watch these movies. But the sites don't know who you are. They may require that you enter your birth date to verify that you're old enough to watch movies intended for mature audiences. All the movies should be able to stream without download, and you often can watch in HD movie quality. Use Yidio to sort by IMDB Score or Rotten Tomatoes.
Sometimes, streaming platforms will use free content to entice viewers to explore other content on the platform. Some TV networks, for example, will offer a limited number of episodes of the current season of TV series for free. These episodes are free to watch for a limited time. But if you want to watch entire seasons or older episodes, you'll often have to pay extra or sign up for a paid subscription.
Netflix, too, is increasingly offering access to some of its series and original movies to non-subscribers. This content is free for anyone to watch without a Netflix subscription. But the streamer hopes that you'll be so entertained by the free content when you watch movies online free. Then you'll be willing to pay for a subscription to the service.
The catalogs of free content on these platforms can be extensive. Tubi offers thousands of free movies and TV shows, all of it available for free, no subscription or credit card required. Vudu has a library of more than 150,000 movies. Many of these movies are available for purchase or rental. But many of them, as well as many complete TV series seasons, are available at no charge.
Peacock, a new service from NBCUniversal, offers hundreds of movies and thousands of TV episodes from the media giant's catalog. And it's all free to stream on the platform's website. Crackle offers an impressive catalog of theatrical movies. And it also offers a library of original series and movies you can only watch on the Crackle platform. The Roku Channel offers hundreds of movie, live news and TV series. Some have complete seasons. All this is free to viewers who use Roku streaming devices.
The no-charge content on these platforms is a little different from the free trials offered by many subscription streaming services. The content on Crackle or Peacock, for example, is available without the need to set up an account on the platform. You also don't have to provide any payment information. Free-trial services work a little differently. Many premium streaming platforms, such as Disney+ and Apple TV+, offer free trial periods during which you can watch their content without paying. The same is true of many network streaming platforms such as STARZ or Showtime. The difference is that you'll need to sign up for an account on the platform and provide payment information. You won't be charged a subscription fee during the free-trial period. But if you don't cancel by the time the trial period ends, your account will automatically convert to a paid subscription. You'll be charged the subscription fee.
Of course, there's often a trade-off involved when it comes to watching movies for free. Sites often subsidize their free streaming movies offerings by including advertising along with the films. Movies may be prefaced with an ad or two. Sometimes there will be periodic commercial breaks throughout the movie. The ads are generally as unobtrusive as ads can be. And in the case of TV series, the experience is much like watching an episode on traditional broadcast TV. The ads allow the streaming platform to make money without charging the viewer a subscription fee. They're crucial to keeping the content free of charge. Many viewers find that it's worth a few commercials to avoid paying a subscription or rental fee.

I had never seen this movie before, but as I like action movies, thought that I would give it a go. I am glad that I did. There are many twists and turns in the movie to keep you guessing who the bad guy is. Liam Neeson does a great job as an air marshal who is under pressure, while fighting his own demons and Julianne Moore excels in portraying a co-passenger who ultimately stands by him. Plenty of action and suspense. Go buy......

Somewhat disappointing drama for Liam Neeson. His notable acting skills deserve a better script than this ponderous and predictable cliche' that follows the standard formula of a washed up, burned out security professional who gets dragged out of retirement to summon his once formidable and somehow reflexive skills to, against all odds, unconvincingly rescue and secure a hijacked commercial passenger jet. I could include a spoiler alert first here, but it's so predictable, it doesn't really necessitate an alert. The characters of the supporting cast are very confusing and cryptic in their roles - maybe intentionally, maybe not. But, with the exception of the bad guys, the rest don't really contribute to the plot except as weak diversions. Oh, and I've never understood the fantasy world of Hollywood martial arts hand combat. The opponents never seem to have much trouble instantly rebounding from what appears to be repeated lethal blows to face, neck, chest and groin. In real life, people get sent to the ER in an ambulance for tripping on the stairs or falling off a bicycle. I guess concussion doesn't exist in action movies. I know without a doubt, if I sustained one karate chop to the nose like these fighting characters receive in rapid, serial repetition, I'd be on my way to the morgue. Rather insipid movie with little realism - I should have passed on this one.

This movie stars Liam Neeson as a Federal air marshal, Julienne Moore as the passenger next to him, and Michelle Dockery (Mary in Downton Abbey) as a stewardess. Basic plot: someone has an elaborate set-up to extract 140 million dollars or else bring down the entire plane in a way that makes it look like Neeson is responsible. Neeson is a great target since, after the loss of his daughter, he became an alcoholic and was almost fired from his job already, making it easy for the higher-ups to believe that he’s the one responsible. Neeson once again proves he’s not too old to star in an action film and do it plausibly. We’ve seen this basic type of plot before: the unique setting of a confined space, some 30,000 feet above ground lends an especially claustrophobic and dangerous feeling to the violence, including the threat of all the passengers losing control and rioting. I’m surprised this film managed PG-13, but once again it confirms that the rating agencies consider violence far less damaging to young minds than any hint of sexuality. Somehow I still think they have it all wrong. In any case this was a great action-suspense film, with Neeson very much in the lead, on-camera almost every scene, as he desperately tries to figure out who is responsible for setting him up, whether there really is a bomb on the plane, and how to stop a disaster, while almost everyone is working against him: the passengers start believing he's the hijacker, the TSA and Homeland Security and Defense Department think he's the hijacker, his co-marshal on the flight very conveniently (or inconveniently) ends up dead, etc. Don't want to spoil more of the plot, but the POV is very much Neeson's, and I felt it realistically conveyed the sense of paranoia when you don't know who on-board you can trust and who is a possible terrorist or hijacker. Great job.

Non-Stop is indeed a non-stop action thriller. Liam Neeson has been great in many movies, and his role in [[ASIN:B002BI6SMI Taken]] gave us a taste of a new type mystery thriller. [[ASIN:B00KW274SM Non-Stop]] will be remembered as another unique in the genre. I have seen a several good movies involving airplanes, but this one is now at the top of the list. What made this movie above and beyond several other action thrillers, no pun intended, was the exceptional supporting cast. The movie draws us in and lets us see below the surface of several characters so that we care about them and want them to survive. I highly recommend this movie. If you enjoy it I suggest you see the thrilling Wes Craven movie [[ASIN:B00GD526S0 Red Eye]] with Rachel McAdams, Cillian Murphy, and Brian Cox. Wow, I didn't expect to actually enjoy this movie that much. I am not a big fan of the latest plane action movies, as one seems to be as impossible as the other and we can guess the end five minutes into the plot. However, this movie was pretty amazing in the sense that when I thought I had it all figured out, I realized I didn't. When it all started I wondered how on Earth, are they going to bring an interesting conclusion to the story but, they did. I absolutely loved it, I was literally sitting on the edge of my couch, and at times, I wondered if my blood pressure could take any more intensity. One thing I also would like to add is that it is a refreshingly pretty clean movie. Yes there are some violence but, nothing over the top and as somebody noted in a different review, the camera work is very much remarkable giving the amount of space and the lay out of the set- think international commercial airplane, if you have ever been on one and remember how hard it is to breath at times, when squeezed between two passengers built like 300lbs bodybuilders. Now, imagine the same setting but people are running up and down, fights in the tiny closet called the restroom... and so on. Remarkable really. And of course there is Liam Neeson, an amazing actor indeed.

Thrills by the minute well I guess you would have to come to a conclusion on this one as Liam on the plane, The plane is up in the sky and a killer is going to kill some one every so often unless he is given $150 million. Now this is high rise tension thriller were some one might pull the wrong plug, there is nothing that will help them up there. So a stupid man in this plane thinks he is going to win forget it, we are the goodies and him well, is going to be left out on the wing. Storyline is great and with a magnificent cast how can anyone not like this movie. To make it worse he is telling the security on board the plane what their intentions are. Now the person, no-one knows who they are, which means a man or woman is a suspect so now it narrows it down to a couple of hundred. I'll leave it at that as to much chatter will spoil the show. I rated this an A grade plus as for the marvellous ideas that come to head in this fast action paced with things flying everywhere, well now is the time to gather up your popcorn and movie retire to your favourite chair and relax putting your feet up and let all the others in the movie do all the work and to keep you amused for a while, fabulous entertainment with a great cast what more do you want. Enjoy!

I confess: I not only have "guilty secrets" but I also have Guilty Pleasures - and this is one of them. I don't know why, but if it has an airplane and it's passengers in distress - I'm There!! (see "The HIgh and the Mighty", ANY of the "Airport" series, yes even the really rotten ones, etc.) This is better than most. The plot makes a disaster-movie-kind-of-sense, the characters are well drawn and mostly interesting, the suspense is good and the special effects are quite good. Gaping plot points? Well, of course. More than two "Now wait just a minute. . . " moments? Yeah. But remember - it's an airplane. It's in danger. It's got passengers, including a child travelling alone, so what's not to like? Spoiler Alert: She's the only one you don't eventually suspect of being the baddie. McGuffens abound but I really like the actors: Liam Neeson, Julianne Moore, Downton Abbey's Michelle Dockery, last year's Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o, and a personal fav of mine Corey Stoll finally getting to strut his stuff in a majorly way. (see this tv season's The Strain) Don't question yourself - if you're a fan of "disaster movies" - go for it. Just keep it to yourself, like I do.

Lacy Chabert is great in this very suspenseful movie. This story is full of twists and turns and will keep the viewer on their toes. No cursing but there is blood. There are a lot of recognizable stars and the characters range from the ridiculous to the silly and sexy Will Kemp is along for the story too. There are plenty of bad guys but Lacy slays them all. Most of the story takes place on board a plane. It has a sweet ending. Not a story for the kids but plenty of action here. I recommend. Enjoy! :)

Weak story, failure to get on with it. What most movies spend about 10 minutes on developing the characters, this one takes 2/3 of the entire movie before if gets mildly interesting. Nod off in hospital type movie, providing you've been given a sedative.
