So I'm trying to extract the asses from the game, mainly models and levels and I'm wondering is there a extractor or decompiler?
I have searched basically everywhere, fan mods, multiplayer, but I cant seem to find what I'm looking for. If anybody has any idea, I would greatly appreciate the help! =)
Were there any mods or attempts to revive the original multiplayer feature?
Just as the title says. I know you can enter "mpclip" in the console with NOLF Modernizer to noclip around levels and check out some of the behind-the-scenes areas for cutscenes, but I've always wanted to check out some of the levels that are cutscenes *only* and don't allow you to move with the "mpclip" cheat (like the very first level with Volkov killing the UNITY agents). You have no idea how this behind-the-scenes stuff fascinates me. Obviously I need to be able to control the cutscene cameras, which seems to use a different set of coordinates (as evidenced by the static info when you enter "mppos").
I tried figuring out the camera position parameters using Cheat Engine but I'm a noob and I have no idea how to scan for it, let alone how to find the pointer address and bind + control the camera using WASD and mouse movement.
I have the NOLF source code (NOLF.dsw converted to NOLF.sln) running in VS2019 but I have an extremely basic (and I mean absolutely-pathetic-not-even-101-level) understanding of C++ and not even sure how to link it with my game files. So apart from finding the cheat strings and the CCheatMgr class I don't even know where to begin modifying the code to either toggle/disable the cutscene camera and enable player movement OR move the cutscene camera around with WASD & mouse movement.
I know posting this on r/nolf is a pretty long shot but if any NOLF programming pros (or even devs lol) are still somehow lurking around I would really appreciate any help to just point me in the general direction of potentially coming up with a solution for a pretty stupid problem.
EDIT: Even better if there is a way to do this natively in the game with the Modernizer console. I can't be fucked to try and compile the game, that shit is way too advanced for me.
Also wouldn't mind some info on where to get my hands on decompiled worlds/maps for the game (.ED format instead of .DAT)
As the title says, I simply can not use D to sidestep right. I changed a bunch of keys and even set right to * and it works for some reason.
I checked the autoexex.cfg and it looks fine.
Does anybody have any idea on what could the issue be with this silly bug/feature?
So ive heard that there is a lot of people having problems with no one lives forever 1. Either it doesnt run or it has the cfd application error.
May i ask why is there no fix for it and why isnt it more commonly adressed that the game is unplayable?
I tried everything. Nvidia settings, compatibillity mode, various graphic settings, administrator, etc etc.
I even have installed the game on TWO PC´s. One runs windows 7 the other 10. One uses intel the other amd (both nvidia graphics card tough).
Is it because i downloaded that no one lives forever redux from that website where u can get 1 2 and contract jack? Im really close to just drop the franchise despite hearing its good...

It's really sad these games are STILL in IP hell. These are some of the best, most fun shooters ever made and they deserve to live on. Too many gamers today have never had the joy of playing Cate Archer's adventures. Someone please get this sorted out so we can have these wonderful games back.
If Warner Brothers (Bought the original dev Monolith) and Activision (Bought Vivendi games the original publisher) can get their collective heads out of their own rectums then we might see this come to light. Would buy day one myself.

Since the first game is my favourite game of all time (didn't manage to try the second game :( but would love to as well), the moment if and when GOG ends up porting them, I will buy them in a heartbeat.

Monolith has made some awesome games! One of them being the long respected classic AvP 2, now I have discovered this beauty and I'm looking forward to buy it some day if they release it here, hopefully.
Add it and other Sierra games, talk to the current holder Activision, about an agreement already

Nope, I hope it stays in copyright hell so anti consumer companies like GOG and Valve don't charge for a download license of it. It doesn't need "revived", you can play it right now without paying for a download.

No One Lives Forever is my favorite game of all time, right behind Fallout 2 and Deus Ex. Please, please, please do all you can to revive this wonderful series for this older lady who wants to be a spy again!

This series i have never had the chance of playing.I have only seen let's plays of the games and from what i've seen this series has every right to be here.I think it's time for GOG to do their magic and bring this dead series back for everyone to enjoy.
