The hotel is excelent. All amenities, rooms, restaurants and specially the service. We went by honeymoon, and we had a great experience with our Takuro named Fasy (a kind of a personal attendant during all the time we spent in the hotel) He was very kind and offered us a room upgrade free of charge. We had both experiences, beach room with pool, and water bungalow with pool. I would suggest doing both, nice and different experience in each room Definitely I can say Maldives is the paradise in earth. Really looks like the pictures we see! Thanks Niyama, thanks Maldives

We have just returned from the most amazing holiday. We arrived on the island to a very warm welcome from Pierre (resort manager ) and his staff. Every guest has their very own Thakuru assigned to them- we had Imithi who helped us organise our whole stay, which included our daughters 18th birthday celebrations. We are a family of swimmers, surrounded by the ocean and two pools we were very happy. We went on the coral garden snorkel tour with the Marine Biologist -Pippa, who is very passionate about her job and marine conservation. We also went to all three of her talks which were very informative and geared to all ages- would thoroughly recommend these. Our daughter took surf lessons with Malek, who was a great teacher as proven by the great photos taken by Naomi -the watersports photographer. For me the best way to start the day is with a swim and sun rise yoga- was not disappointed. Thank you to Lenate, Marcyl and Asanka who looked after us so well at breakfast and for the evening meals, at Blu and Epicure. Fine dining in the treetops and cocktails at the surf centre or at Edge are a must during your stay. We are definetly planning on returning . Thank you everyone for a very memorable holiday …

Just returned from a week stay celebrating my 40th birthday at Niyama Private Islands with my husband and 6 year old son and WOW what an experience! From the moment we arrived in Male and were whisked off in a private executive car that smelt like a spa, arriving at the resort where we were met by the awsome Safeeg, our Thakaru for the week, who tended to our every need- nothing was too much, he kept us organised, made suggestions for dinner and times according to whatever we were doing with our day, he took time to speak to and get to know our son and even dropped him off and picked him up from kids club for us. If we left something in our room he was happy to go back and collect and drop off to us. Honestly I could not have asked for anything more of this service it was first class!!. Safeeg was friendly, professional, funny and well presented at all times!! With regards to the rooms and the island, just look at the pictures what you see is what you get but in real life it's even better. Food was fantastic, I really enjoyed the themed nights and the local food and if my son didn't want anything that was on the menu or out on display it was no trouble at all for the chefs to make whatever he liked which was usually steak and fries. Special thanks to chef Harish who went out of his way to make us food on special request, the Indian butter chicken was especially delicious. Special thanks to our waiter Saleem who was incredibly accommodating and attentive at all times, amazing service always. My son had a great experience at kids club with the Marine Biologist Phillipa, who took him out snorkelling at the reef and explored many different sea life which he absolutely loved. The spa was heavenly, I had the signature full body massage which was excellent. The therapists are on hand at breakfast also and provide 5 mins massages which is a really nice touch. AO is a lovely lady, very friendly. If you want to do something extra special you must go for lunch at SubSix, under water resteraunt, it's magical!! This island has everything and is a true 5 star in every sense, everything has been thought through with great attention to detail, your own persobalised bikes ready at your room upon arrival, personal butler service, candle and inscence in the rooms, timings of break fast lunch and dinner (basically food all day), so many activities going on but still a lot of space for privacy throughout the island. An unforgettable trip and surprise 40th birthday, this place will always hold a special place in my heart f whilst we don't usually return to the same space twice, we have already spoken on returning again, may be for Christmas. Huge thank you to all of the staff at Niyama Private Islands that do an amazing job of making this island so magical!! …

Waves were not so good, we could pick one real good day in Kasabu. Vodi not one day. However all the rest was very good. I truly recommend for couples or family. We do recommend to train with Martin Muai thai and the team for Play was very good, Nathelan is an excelent manager and supported us all time with surfing activities and others.

When we arrived at Niyama Private Islands, I thought that it was a perfect place to celebrate our birthdays which come on the same day: huge paradise Island with beautiful jungle pathways and glowing white beaches! We had one of the best times for relaxing, swimming, and surfing. To be honest, I believe that the price of the surf transfer of 184$ is way too much. From all my previous experience, similar distance trips have always been much more affordable. The island itself, unique restaurants (you shouldn't miss Nest in the trees and over-water Edge, or Blu), great SPA, very attentive and cheerful staff, a Glow party at the underwater restaurant, and weekly cocktail party - all make you feel over the top here! I want to pay special thanks to our Takuru Imthi, who was very helpful, fast, and just discrete in his efficient service. I highly recommend it and looking forward to coming back. …

We spent a week at Niyama Private Islands, and it was just fantastic! Long wide sandy beaches surround you along with turquoise clear waters. The islands are spacious and just perfect for cycling around. We stayed at Deluxe beach villa with pool, and it met all our expectations: great design with posh red and black colours perfectly fits the surroundings. We loved the snorkeling here at several spots, which is good as most of the lagoon remains clean from the corals. I will always remember this fascinating place as here we celebrated our birthday at over water restaurant Edge which was a truly gorgeous place to experience fine dining. Nevertheless, the most exciting thing is that my proposal also took place at Niyama, so this place will forever remain in my heart! 💞 I would like to specially thank our thakuru Imthi, who was very professional in all the terms: he was always there when we needed him, was making all the arrangements and informing about all the events and activities. Generally, all the staff was very friendly and supportive, so we felt like at home every second. We hope to come back next year. 🙂 …

Amazing place! A real definition of Paradise! Besides the incredible Nature it is outstanding the attention dedicated to every detail, from the garden, the paths around the island, room service, the kindness of the staff and the special details for honeymoon and birthday celebration! Not to mention the best surfing day ever that my husband had! On top of that the lovely care of our Tukuru Nuwa! Thanks Niyama, Nuwa and all the staff for these unforgettable moments. There are no words to describe how happy we are to have spent special days with you.
Room Tip: In the rainy season always leave with the raincoat the weather changes very fast.

I have spent one week with my wife at Niyama. It’s a spectacular hotel, that found a way of being a 5 stars hotspot without being fancy or snob. Great food and a warm service from the thakurus Imthi, Baty, You Kay e Shafeeq, the butlers that solve any concern, even when you don’t what to desire. But maybe the most unique privilege over here is their bidimensional gate. Niyama is definitely not a crowded place. There are dozens of quiet beaches where you can stay alone, lying under the trees and swimming or scuba diving whenever you want. No mess around. You can even pretend that you are in a desert island talking to a Wilson ball. No one will notice you. Not even mosquitoes. Any time, you can easily cross that gate and meet the best stuff civilization can offer. A stunning wedding party with great friends celebrating a great great couple, for example. I would also recommend diving with mantas, having dinner at least once at Nest, going for a drink at Subsix and riding your personal bike a lot. There is also a wonderful place to play beach tennis, by the gym. If you are on a surf trip, watch your step when leaving the sea. It can be slippery. :) The rooms are amazing, even more if you like popcorn and vanilla ice cream. You can spend all day there if you are in a couple vibe. Isso é que é vida. Cheers …
