Ninja Girls ( Japanese : 乱飛乱外 , Hepburn : Rappi Rangai ) , is a manga by Tanaka Hosana. The manga sets during the civil war in Japan and revolves around a boy named Raizou Katana who is loathed for having a short horn on his forehead. He saves a female ninja , who then tells him that she's his servant and he is an emperor, and she introduces him to her clan of female ninjas who are devoted to restoring his family name.
The story revolves around a boy named Raizou Katana. He was living in a village where the villagers despised him for having a horn on his head. When he saves the life of Kagari (a kunoichi ), he discovers that he is the illegitimate heir to the fallen Katana clan and must revive his household to its original state. Together with fellow Kunoichi Kisarabi and Himemaru, they set out to revive the clan by marrying Raizou to a princess of another household and borrowing their power. Throughout the series, Raizo eventually wins over several princesses but ends up running away due to various misunderstandings. All the while, a group led by the mysterious Kabuki Seigan also attempt to gain control over the other households, only to meet with failure through the intervention of Raizou and his followers.
Ninja Girls was serialized in Monthly Shōnen Sirius magazine. It was collected into nine volumes by Kodansha , [1] and has been licensed in English by Del Rey translated by Andria Cheng, and in Traditional Chinese by Sharp Point Press. [2] Kodansha USA will keep publishing the series in 2011. [3]
Ninja Girls volume 1 debuted sixth on The New York Times manga bestseller list for the week of August 23–29, 2009. [22] The following week, Ninja Girls volume 1 slipped to eighth position. [23] Joseph Luster, writing for Otaku USA , felt that the manga was in an awkward position: "too fan-servicey for some, and not enough for others". [24]
Comicbookbin.com's Leroy Douresseaux compares the tone of the manga to Strawberry 100% , and feels that the manga is full of "comic violence that is brutal and bloody or innuendo defined by female ninja (kunoichi) in some state of undress." [25] Activeanime.com's Davey C. Jones enjoyed the "voluptuous" character designs of the girls. [26] Matthew Alexander found the character of the spirit tablet imbued with the protagonist's mother's spirit to be very funny, [27] and found the protagonist to be a "likeable character" who "cares more about the feelings of those around him than he does about his own wellbeing". [28] Dan Polley felt the first volume had "potential", and that the secondary characters were intriguing. [29]

Seraphim, or Sera for short, is a vampire ninja who is very skillful and trained in the use of the katana. It becomes clear that Seraphim works to perfect the technique of Tsubame-gaeshi, since almost everything in her life is fixed on it. Originally, the beauty with ample breasts was supposed to submit a request to Eucliwood, which was always rejected by Eucliwood.
According to her instruction, she should be at Eucliwood’s side as a servant in this case, which Eucliwood also denied, since she already had a servant in Ayumu. When Seraphim realizes that it seems impossible to eliminate Ayumu, she decides to become Ayumu’s servant.
However, she does not behave like a servant, possesses a sharp tongue, and repeatedly refers to Ayumu as Kuso Mushi. As a servant, she finds it necessary to live with Ayumu as well, appearing like a ghost in all sorts of places in the house at inopportune times.
A kunoichi of the Koga clan trained since childhood, she serves as the official Poison Catalyst for the Mochizuki clan chamberlain. Due to the regular ingestion of toxins that her job demands, Kagero has developed immunity to poisons and her body has become poisonous, so whoever kisses her or has sex with her will be fatally poisoned.
Due in part to this and in part to her own upbringing, Kagero sees herself as a worthless tool, and she easily risks her life in battle, causing her to run afoul of the vitalist Jubei. The character of Kagero is a reference to Futaro Yamada’s work The Kouga Ninja Scrolls .
Suma is a supporting character in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is a kunoichi and one of Tengen Uzui’s wives. While investigating the entertainment district, Suma was assigned as the oiran at the Tokito house. However, during the investigation, she disappeared and lost contact with Tengen Uzui.
When Tanjiro arrives in disguise at the Tokito house, he hears the rumor that Suma had run off with a wealthy suitor from his diary, but immediately doubts that anything more sinister is going on. Later in the arc, Inosuke Hashibira begins searching for the demon and comes across a cavern with a hanging obi holding several people captive.
As he begins his assault, he manages to free several captives, including Suma and Makio. The two women continue to defend the freed captives from being reabsorbed while Inosuke fights the obi. A loud clap of thunder is heard above the cave and Tengen bursts through the ceiling, effectively severing large parts of the obi. He lets both women know that he is proud of them, which tears them apart emotionally.

Goemon Hachisuka is a young ninja girl. She was a student of Kinoshita Hideyoshi, and after his death, swore allegiance to Yoshiharu. She is the leader of a group of militia loyal to her and ready to die for her. She has a childish voice and occasionally stammers, which is why she doesn’t like long speeches.
Due to its small stature, it is a good spy and is able to quickly and quietly penetrate protected premises. She is able to stand up for herself in battle and has saved Yoshiharu’s life more than once due to her super-fast reflexes.
Hanabi Hyūga is Hinata’s little sister, considered the heiress of the clan. Despite her very young age, she shows great talent in using her family’s techniques. In a special episode, we can see that she admired her big sister a lot when she was younger and took her as an example, until she noticed that Neji was much stronger than her, toning down the admiration she felt.
Later, while traveling out of town with her father during Pain and Konan’s invasion of Konoha, she regains her admiration for her older sister when she learns how the latter fought Pain. Given her young age, she does not participate in the war and is left behind in Konoha.
Hinatsuru is a supporting character in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is a kunoichi and one of Tengen Uzui’s wives. At some point in the past, Hinatsuru was instructed alongside Makio and Suma by their husband Tengen on his personal ideology: putting their own lives first, then respectable humans, and finally himself.
Later, Makio questioned this idea privately, as it went against what they had been taught as a kunoichi. Hinatsuru assured her that as long as she was okay with that, Tengen would approve of it too. She also wished for the four of them to retreat from the front lines as soon as they defeated an Upper Moon.
Suspecting that the entertainment district was an ideal hideout for the Demons, Hinatsuru infiltrated there as an oiran alongside her fellow wives. Sent to the Kyogoku House, she quickly realized that the main oiran Warabihime was a Demon, but she couldn’t make a move, so she drank poison in order to be sent out of the house. However, she was fired with a belt that quickly dispatched her if she tried to do anything suspicious.
Anko Mitarashi is a kunoichi from Konohagakure and a classmate of Team Minato. She was assigned to a team under Orochimaru’s tutelage. The two loved each other, and Orochimaru finally decided to give Anko some of her research. However, this resulted in Anko being the sole survivor of ten subjects of the Cursed Seal, and she also developed various snake abilities.
After Orochimaru left her village, Anko blamed herself for what happened and her personal goal was to redeem him. At the beginning of the series, she is a loud and brash tokubetsu jonin and the proctor of the second part of the Chunin Exams. In the epilogue, Anko is revealed to have been found, and is an instructor at the Academy, while she also becomes quite fat.
Sarasvati, Saras is a ninja-vampire and Sera’s eldest who lives in the human world as Kirara Hoshikawa. She is also known as Lovely Kirara, leading a double life as a singing idol, who is very popular in the human world. She later ordered Sera to assassinate Eu seen as a magnet to Megalo. However, Saras fixes Sera’s execution for not following his orders.
Later, Saras rescues her and Haruna from Yoruno. She later revoked her assassination attempt, following the success of her faction and Mael’s combined in an effort to seal the gates to the underworld (although Sera was ultimately the key, since she had the blood of Eu flowing through his veins after a mortal wound suffered by Yoruno).
Eventually, she falls in love with Ayumu (to be more precise, she desires him at first sight when she saw her behind and her curves, but normally falls in love with him nonetheless).
Makio is a supporting character in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is a kunoichi and one of Tengen Uzui’s wives. Makio first arrives in the neighborhood to work undercover as a courtesan at the Ogimoto house, she tries to gather information about reports of a demon in the neighborhood and sends information back to Tengen via the crow.
However, one day, Makio is captured by Daki’s obi and is quickly interrogated Later, when Inosuke discovers the bunker, he cuts off the obi, freeing both Makio and Suma from inside and the two women help him save the girls from being reabsorbed into the obi. After reuniting with Tengen in the cavern, Makio and Suma are freed and lead the evacuation of the neighborhood’s citizens.
Once Makio and Suma manage to evacuate the citizens, they return near the end of the battle and find out the consequences. Makio and his co-wives rush to provide first aid to Tengen, but find that their antidotes don’t work to cure Gyutaro’s poison. After initially panicking about what to do, Nezuko approaches the group and heals Tengen with her abilities, allowing the women to rejoice and kiss her.
Sarada Uchiha is the daughter of Sasuke and Sakura. She appears to have inherited traits from both parents, such as the “Cha!” of her mother as well as her father’s verbal tic, indifference, and reluctance to recognize certain people and praise them when they really deserve it.
