Nikolskaya Consulting x RWA Vis Pre-Moot 2026

On 5 March 2026, Russian Women in Arbitration (RWA) together with Nikolskaya Consulting law firm held offline practice rounds for the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Moscow, featuring Russian teams from MGIMO, MSAL, MSU, HSE University (Moscow), HSE University (St. Petersburg), RANEPA, RGUP, and SPbU.

Each team participated in two rounds. As a result, the MGIMO team emerged as the winner, while the HSE University (Moscow) team and the MSAL team were ranked as the first and second runners-up. Arina Buryak (MGIMO) received the Best Speaker Award.

Within the special nomination RWA recognised three outstanding female participants, who achieved the highest scores in their performances – Arina Buryak (MGIMO), Natalya Agafonova (MGIMO), and Polina Kalugina (HSE University (Moscow)).
