Nikolskaya Consulting x RWA Vis Pre-Moot

On March 7, 2025, Russian Women in Arbitration (RWA), in collaboration with the Nikolskaya Consulting, hosted practice rounds for the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, featuring Russian teams from MGIMO, MSAL, MSU, HSE University (Moscow), HSE University (St. Petersburg), RANEPA, RGUP, and SPbU.

Based on the results of two rounds, the MGIMO team emerged as the winner, with MSAL and MSU as the first and second runners-up. The award for best oralist went to Rakhel Rizhinashvili (MSU).

This year, for the first time, RWA introduced a special nomination recognising three outstanding female participants who achieved the highest scores in their performances – Rakhel Rizhinashvili (MSU), Anna Vasilieva (MGIMO), and Varvara Glukhova (MSAL). They will be featured in our RWAInsights project, where they will share their experiences of participating in one of the most prestigious international arbitration competitions in the world.
